Did anyone see Whitmarsh talking about Button? I mean I have not been one talking up this Button bias in McLaren too much, although there has been one or two dodgy decisions made by the team and from previous exchanges it was obvious that Whitmarsh likes Button.

Saying that, this latest clip was just crazy, he literally looked like he was in ore of the guy, like he was a teenage fan of some pop band or something and Jenson was the lead singer. He was going on how he'd kiss him on both sides if he'd have got a podium? It's like both sides of where exactly? :S

He was also just going on about how great Jenson is, I don't think he mentioned Lewis much at all in that exchange.

To me, if he was that desperate for Jenson to get on the podium, then had Vettel and Alonso of had good starts, then that would have meant Button being infront of Hamilton. I really wonder how happy he would have been if Button came through the field and got 3rd and if Hamilton lost out because of that. Surely he should want Hamilton to finish on the podium (which was not a certainty) just as much as Jenson.

I remember all that and I was ( swear wording) pissed off with it!! It s why I can't just let it got it was SO obvious. And it's why I'm glad Whitmarsh has got his just deserves. I've nothing against McLaren I must add , and I'm delighted they're righting what was such a huge and stupid wrong, an injustice.

F1Enigma saying there are rumors Ferrari are interested (he has worked at Maranello previously), but I'd imagine so would Merc, especially as he is an aero guy and would probably have knowledge of the wishbone wing.
