No, I mean come here and just wait for everyone to post stuff. I think GP update has live updates during the testing but nothing that I know of with streamed live video.

ah ok, you trickster! :P I was kind of aroused for a sec but now I look like the STR9

Apparently if it doesn't rain by Friday they will artificially wet the track.

I think a massive indicator for the first day Jerez test is how many consecutive laps completed by a team. Then fastest lap as Im sure no matter what they all say about trying things etc, at some point each team will have a proper blast on low fuel at some point on the first day.

Maybe not so much on the first day, but by the end of the week we will want to look at fastest times. Bear in mind the cars are massively likely to change between now and Australia; but should give us a nice indication. Let's hope McLaren put Kevin in the right way up.

I don't think we well see anything but correlation, shake down and validation work at Jerez.
I doubt we will see any comparative reference points until 2nd round of testing.

Logically, it would be the guys with the smallest sidepods and therefore least airflow to the cooling ststem

Or the team who has got the cooling maths equations wrong.

How warm is it in Jerez at the moment? Don't teams normally say it is cold, so if cars are overheating now Bahrain etc is going to cause massive problems

Today TJ13 has learnt that Renault are having trouble with their engine, specifically the crankshaft and it was described as a flaw. For months now TJ13 have been hearing rumours of a certain team having problems with their engines and that they just could not make it last.

This has to do with the internal vibrations that a V6 engine creates as apposed to a V8, the latter running much more smoothly. Add in the complexity of the turbo harvesting power as well as KERS… Tomorrow we may see Renault (and perhaps other engined teams) circulating at relatively low speeds so if track times appear slow, it is because they are;)

One to watch out for, laps put in and actual speed compared to other engine family cars

7C to 15C that is cold for an F1. Did I read they are bringing special winter tyres?

If we do a bet on which team blows up first, lets not forget Merc's already got 40km under its belt with the full 2014 machine. So their counter starts at 40.
