Is it me or have ITV, this season (Bahrain GP), put in longer advert breaks at more inconvenient times?
Because they are loosing F1 coverage are they throwing a strop?

I thought that the ad breaks after the race were mush shorter than during the race itself, but maybe that's just a subjective view because I was impatient for the actual race to be back on?

The advert breaks are longer during sociable viewing hours. Earlier in the morning, as we saw with the Australian GP and the first half of the Malaysian GP, the advert breaks are shorter.

I was really annoyed by the lenght of ITV's ads today and I really think they are putting them on by purpose because they're losing coverage to the BBC next year. At the last race of the season, I wouldn't be surprised if they put an ad break on as soon as something majorly dramatic happens or whenever the leader is on the last lap.

All I can say is roll on 2009 when we will once again (hopefully) be treated to those famous bass notes taken from "The Chain".

The post-race was pathetic as well. Very short segments of nothing much of any import.

And what happened to the post-race press conference?!

That will be the first thing I learn when I get my bass. I love that song. :)

That was the first thing I learnt on my bass! :)

And as much as an Iron Maiden fan I am, I'm really getting tired of "Can I play with Madness":evil::evil:

I agree, but ITV's post-race analysis is usual pathetic anyway. Basically, they only show the post-race press conference if Hamilton is going to feature. That they don't even use a studio makes the whole thing look completely amateur. One thing's for sure: the BBC can do no worse, in fact, they'll be better because the coverage will be uninterrupted.

That pissed me off the most to be honest, I'd rather see the press conference than Blundell almost in tears (and he was..) mulling over a s*** race for Lewis.

They should add some more songs in.

It sounds cheesy beyond belief and scares the life out of me when it comes on suddenly on the ITV website when I'm watching practice highlghts.
