Strange goings on at Lotus today with Boullier departing to be replaced by Lopez.

Did he walk amidst the rumoured financial chaos the team is suffering, or was he pushed?

Will be interesting to see if/when their new car appears in winter testing...

I hope they do have new sponsors to announce, but it is worrying that these rumours (or fact in the case of Kimi's wages) haven't disappeared over the winter.

If he turns up at McLaren, he jumped,I cant see how they could push him out when he probably hasnt been paid yet.

Bad for Lotus, good for McLaren if that's the case, I've always had the impression that Boullier is a very good team boss, he always seemed very good at keeping a cool head when under pressure, and hadled both the Kimi / Pay situation and the Grosjean / forever crashing situation very well in my opinion.

He was very nice at Silverstone

But I didn't expect Boullier to leave Lotus to be honest...Good news for McLaren as they look powerful coming into Australia

Toto Wolff has said Russia is an important market for Mercedes so Petrov just so happens to testing a DTM for them.

Agreed. Boullier is a great short term fix for McLaren IMO.
