[. I am just stating the way I see his performance in 2007. It was nothing so unbeleivably stupendous when he was in the best car. You take it as slaging because you think so highly of him and cannot accept anything else.

go back in time and take away everyones achievements and put it down to the car then dude

hmmm Schumacher in the best car in his winning days guess his 7 titles are worthless then?

and you can put his performance last year and rate it against his team mate. Fernando is no easy beat is he?

Those BMWs are overrated

No, they are not

They were pretty much on par with Ferrari, and that says a volume.

At this point - unfortunately - McLaren seems a bit overrated.

I'm very happy with this result :D! First top three starting position for BMW since '05 but Massa has the fastest car on all fuel load's so I predict a win or a spin . Most likely Massa will win unless Kimi or Lewis have a perfect race/pitstop stategy.

My top three prediction's for the race:

1. Massa
2. Kimi
3. Lewis or Kovi

what do you think about kubica??

I think Robert ROCK'S! IMHO he is a true gentleman, handles himself with everyone very genuinely and professional and quite frankly I hope he can win the race. I have liked BMW for a very long time and I wish them and Robert the best of luck in the race and the season.

Gregg

All true! I'm growing respect toward that guy.

Yes you are right bud. Shuy was in the best car & any other driver of equal driving talent could have done the same job as he did, except for a few things.
I don’t think the Ferrari would have been as good as it was without Shuy’s tactical nous & his expert ability to communicate with his engineers.

Hammy in 2007 had the best car and had the driving talent but he also had Alonso to help with the car setup.
He did not have the tactical nous which the last two races showed & is the main reason he was not WDC.

From these last two races in 2008 it looks like he does not have the clearly better car & does not have the setup skill between him & Kovy that are needed. As yet I have not seen any real change in his tactical nous but this will probably come in time with experience.
So at this stage I think all he has got personally, is that he is one talented driver, which come to think of it was all he had in 2007 as well.

But it is still early days so we will see, but this is the way I see it.
