[McLaren Fan]

I don't see the blatant Ferrari bias disappearing. Whether Mosley goes or not, the WMSC will still have an inbuilt Ferrari bias, all sections of the FIA will still be unaccountable, and Todt has been having his name touted by some as a future leader.

Dont believe it will stop. I wonder just how close McLaren are to getting out of F1 and starting up the Trans Atlantic Series I've been hearing whispers about. Dont think Mercedes would be too disapointed to have a higher prescence in USa/Canada. I seriously wonder if F1 would survive without McLaren (BMW might be able to hold it together with a challenge but who knows). Maybe Whitmarsh will be the man to break the Ecclestone/Mosely stranglehold.

You quite obviously overestimate the importance of McLaren compared to Ferrari. F1 w/o McLaren would do just fine. F1 w/o Ferrari would be the death of F1. Remember the attempt to start a competing Formula? Failed miserably once Ferrari decided to stay put. Simple, no argument there.

And I believe you seriously overestimate the value of FIAt to F1 if the Ecclestone/Mosely structure breaks down. If, as any real fan of the SPORT (rather than the Trump like spectacle it has become) hopes, the Mosely revelations cracks the Ecclestone grip on things we could very well see a dip in FIAt's importance to F1.

F1 would do just fine without McLaren but also Ferrari and if fans drop off they are only the tribal lambs so no loss!!
for fans of racing will always watch F1 no matter what teams are competing...simple!

I don't think it would do well without either team. Both are an important part of the sport and it would be like taking out your house's foundations.

Formula One would take a big hit if McLaren or Ferrari left. Ferrari may have a certain charm, but both teams bring in a megabucks of sponsorship money and what have you. Further, the top teams need opposition. Who would watch Formula One just to see McLaren or Ferrari winning everything? Even though BMW are doing very well, they are still at least another season or two away from being championship winners. Further, Formula One needs as many traditional and strong teams as it can get.

The way I see it is that no one team is bigger than the sport & the circus would still go on no matter which team left.
But there are some teams which would be missed more than others. And I am sorry to say that Ferrari WOULD be on the top of this list, which cannot be denied.

And that’s not being an arrogant lamb, it just being realistic.
