Watch out Nando, Philip is no longer mr lapdag since he left, and he is now out to get you :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Massa, who parted ways with Ferrari at the end of last year, said Alonso “knew everything” about the plan when asked about it in a recent interview for Autosport. “But he would never tell me,” Massa added.

Massa, who has previously likened the race to a fixed football match, failed to score after a pit lane mishap during the Safety Car period triggered by Piquet Jnr’s crash. The points he lost to championship rival Lewis Hamilton that day ultimately cost him the 2008 title.

Massa added the FIA should have “cancelled” the result of the after once the truth came to light in September 2009.

People are still blind about that guy "Employee X" of Renault who issued a gag order (in exchange for full cooperation) and no one really questioned who this guy was.....well it's quite clear to me since this X guy came out who he really was.

Who issued the gag order? Surely it was the judge and not "Employee X"?
I haven't kept up with all the gossip and innuendo, so... who do you think
it ""clearly"" is?

from memory, a quick run down.

Flavio and Pat Fry, told Piquet Jr, that if he did not crash on a certain lap. Then he would not have a drive for the next year.
Piquet crashed. His team mate Alonso won the race. (Some say costing Massa the title)

Piquet Sr found out and had a word with Max Mosley, Flavio and Fry denied it, a big investigation happened, one employee said he would squeal in return for not getting into trouble or his/her name being released.

Flavio and Fry got sacked and banned from the sport for a period of time. Renault lost a lot of sponsors like its ING title sponsor. Renault sold the team to Genii.

The main thing about employee x is that he must have known all the details about the fixed crash. But who in the team would be let into the secret of such a heinous and foul deed?
Even Alonso apparently didn't know about it and he was driving the car that was only fueled for a few laps at the start of the race. If the crash didn't happen he would have run out of fuel way before the normal first pitstop window. The evil conspirators including young piquet kept everyone in the dark and must have pretended to Alonso that his car was normally fueled. So employee x knew more it than the driver in the car about to run out of fuel

Was it underfuelled or did they just top it up? Thinking about it now a lot of people must of been in on parts of it

Alonso started very light on fuel and so was quicker, he then came in very early to refuel so was right at the back. then the SC came out for the crash bunching the field up but he was the only one not needing to stop again after that

The catalyst to it all was Renault sacking Piquet Jr. So he went ant told papa bear.

the mysterious witness x kept quiet the whole time, until Piquet squealed, and then had a sudden fit of morality and offered to tell all in return for complete immunity and complete blanket gag on revealing his name.

Reminds me a bit of the McLaren spygate affair when Alonso I think it was who used the Ferrari data happily until he had a sudden fit of morality and decided to report to the FIA, but in the end of course it was Ron who actually came clean

Regardless of what we do or don't infer / speculate / suggest / accuse
UNLESS anyone has any REAL HARD proof, that's all it is... opinion!!
And, those opinions are formed on the basis of who we choose to support.

It's that simple.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

No one needs any proof to track the series of 'gates' that has followed Alonso's career. No one needs proof to see how a driver with a lot of 'controversy' around him ends up at a team who are at the heart of most of F1's 'controversy' .

Smoke and mirrors galore off and on track but no cigar and 0.0 titles since the expensive 'dreamteam' hooked up :hehe:

I haven't named witness x, I just stated the facts. Someone's feeling guilty?

I'm kinda surprised you're admitting to feeling guilty. Then again saying proof isn't needed is pretty far out there - even for you and your Alonsonoia
