RC Tapatalk is def the way to go if you're using your mobile.

IMO the most important app if you want to type a fair bit is Swype. Unless you're very tech savvy only install through the major App stores. If you're like Jab or WB you will want to root your phone

So, install Swype from the app store then tapatalk. Once you're used to Swype you'll throw your iPood away.

I have not rooted the note2 yet, not felt the need.

Swype should be standard os enhancement in the Samsung builds. And I agree, it's fantastic for anyone that already a good keyboarder. The current world record text input exists using swype. The name comes from the fact that you swipe your finger from letter to letter without lifting it so you save quite a bit of time. The OS predicts the words or words possible based on the swipe pattern and it's right about 95% of the time and when it's not it guesses at other close words.

The Swype keyboard has been pre-installed on all my Samsung Android devices, it's not the default keyboard but it's easy to switch.

I'm still getting used to my little keyboard and hit the wrong keys a lot so I'm not sure it would work, but I use that swipe technique in a game called wordz2 and wordz, where you have to make words linking the letters. Maybe I'll try. But I think I'm not liking tapatalk , too much signing in. Perhaps I'll persevere and become a tech wizard and shock everybody.
