I could smell it being an April fools joke a mile off before I even clicked on the topic. Anybody remember last year's joke when James Allen was apparently quitting ITV for his family?

Genius!
Schu Reckons Massa Must Win To Continue
Michael Schumacher believes that Felipe Massa must put his head down and win the race this weekend if Felipe Massa is to continue driving for Ferrari.
The Seven time world champion, who acted as a mentor to the Brazilian in 2007, believes he has played all of his excuses in the first 2 races of the season, and good results are necessary.
The German isn’t entirely ruling him out of the championship though.
“He (Massa) has zero points for the season, so it is not the best of starts … he has played his jokers so far, and doesn’t really have any more jokers to play,” Schumacher told Reuters
“But things will turn around very quickly I think in his favour. He is certainly still very capable of winning the championship this year.”
“He was very strong in Bahrain last time, so there is no reason why he cannot do it again and win impressively.”
FERRARI NUMERO UNO VIVA LA TIFOSI
Schumi on the otherhand won his first world title in a Benetton-Ford, a car far more inferior to the Williams-Renault of the time.

I'm afraid that's not quite true. The Williams FW16 was a bitch to drive, having no grip in slow-speed corners and a very twitchy rear end, playing their part in Senna's fatal accident. Further, Williams were running the tanks virtually empty over the winter to impress their sponsors and show the team was still a cut above the rest. I am also certain that Benetton had traction control - you could hear it - and possibly even launch control. That Senna did so well in the Williams, getting three poles and some incredibly fast laps around the circuits (sadly, spinning off in Brazil, however, trying to get the win, which, at that stage, was off the cards thanks the Benetton's shifty pitstop) I think shows Senna was better than Schumacher.
