LRW I got that from the judge but more mainstream places are reporting it now.

And yeah I want the T-bars back.

Dude, T-bars are like so 60's tech. Here at Blue we use high-speed detachable 6-packs ..... smooth and efficient. :wavey:

And, "they" say women can't make up their minds? :banghead:

that sounds like a generalisation about the female and/or male species, sexist or bigoted even :irked:

:D

It is what it is!! :D

((p.s. you did notice that I used quotation marks around "they" -- that's because I don't personally believe it!! ))

You dont believe what 'they' say or you dont believe 'they' say this

So you are generalising about all men or about the 'they' who say men say this.

Have you interviewed them all?

By the way, just because I am arguing with you doesnt mean I hate all things Sagi, just means I enjoy a lively debate (and you are comendably lively)

You know what is really annoying? Jean Todt was doing a great job at being quiet and staying out of trouble as F1 President. Then 1 week after re-election.... POW! And it still is going - a new trophy for qualifying has been announced. (Although I would prefer it if the fastest qualifier would receive points like in the old days...

Qualifying, what one for the most poles over the year? Or one for each race? Red bull would need an extra cargo container this year for the silverware

A trophy at the end of the season. So the WDC winner gets an extra trophy, as would have happened recently. That will really get the fans excited.

Why not just bring back a point for qualifying and for fastest lap. The reason it was ditched decades ago was because the timing technology was probably analog and not accurate enough to prevent a few drivers setting the same times. It would make so much sense to reward the pole sitter with points toward the WDC instead of some mickey mouse trophy

Points for pole would be cool, but I wouldn't like points for fastest lap. With pirellis and no refueling, it's just down to whoever pits last at the end of the race. Freshest tires + lowest fuel = fastest lap.

Any chance they'll bring refueling back? Yeah? No? No? Okay
:bs::lurker:

Why do you want refueling back? Just seems like an unnecessary hazard to me. Plus I think it's cool that teams have to design a car that works with a heavy fuel load as well as running light.

Agree, make it 24 points for the win + 1 for pole. Still a possible 25 points per race

.

The fastest lap point could allow the cars at the back to score. It wouldnt affect the winner and the leading cars wouldnt change strategy just for 1 point, but it could become a bit of excitement toward the end of the race as the guys outside the points like Chilton get leary

According to this article above, it seems that the driver numbers will be allocated by ballot, and not by choice.....

I'n not sure why this change of numbering is necessary. Seems like a lame idea to me.

That's rediculous, on his Twitter Bottas asked his followers what number he should pick, and someone suggested BO77AS which he said was his current favourite and might pick 77. I don't see why they wouldn't just let the driver pick...

Yeah agree. If you're gonna change it, let the drivers pick. Otherwise, why meddle?
