... I think Lewis would be much happier with RC. Maybe I can get in touch and put in a good word. :wavey:

I second that emotion!! :D

I'll third it!!! :D:D:D

My concern is that you might be too good for him, but if you want to just "use and abuse him" then toss him away ... I'm good with that. :woohoo:

I did not like the premise of the P.u.s.s.y Cat Dolls because it was
a blatant misuse of femininity to sell records.

I have over six thousand songs in my iTunes library and not a single Pussy Cat Dolls song. Not because they're using sexuality to sell songs. If that was the case, I'd not have songs by The Eurythmics, Blondie, Madonna, Lady Ga Ga, Brazilian Girls, M.I.A. Shakira, Grace Jones, Missy Elliot, Donna Summer, Alicia Keys, The Go Go's, The Spice Girls (okay I don't have Spice Girls songs either) but that's not the point.

Women have been using sex to sell music for year, that has nothing to do with their talent or lack thereof. You better be just as much against Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Cristina Aguilera, Katie Perry and the laundry list of starlets that use sex to sell songs.

Personally, I believe Ms. Scherzinger is basically insecure and seems to need someone/something outside
herself to have an identity.

So are a lot of other women... it's public knowledge that she's been dealing with an eating disorder for years, depression, so maybe cut someone you don't even know some slack and just don't fall victim to becoming just another consumer of celebrity gossip.

Good for you, you guessed each and every one of them on the money!!

That's part of the problem, isn't it? The myth that a woman "needs" someone/thing is still prevalent and pervasive in the media.
And, considering she is in a position to dispel some of that, her own experience is all the more reason for her to do so!!

Again, I do NOT buy into consumer gossip... my opinion is based on the products/image she chooses to promote.

But sagi, you have told us before several times that we cant know much about the drivers and their motivations just by what we see in public.

Heard Lewis is going to pop the question to Nicole on New Year....Seriously, this is killing him

I'm sorry to say this RC; but, if he does, Hamilton will have dropped to a new low!

Whatever! Wish him the best, which is not what he's getting with her!!

Id be interested to know how you've come to that conclusion...?

Observation. And, feminine instinct! Can't beat that!! :D

Observation how exactly? Gossip magazines? Her 'onscreen' personality? Feminine instinct = jumping to conclusions to meet your own assumptions.

I think it's typical female jealousy to be honest.

I wouldn't waste my money on gossip magazine nor would I waste my time watching her "onscreen"!
Too bad you've jumped to your own conclusions as to what I based my opinion on, eh?

But, to humour you, I'll share, ok? I did not like the premise of the P.u.s.s.y Cat Dolls because it was
a blatant misuse of femininity to sell records. The group was little more than a flash in the pan and
although she has made a name for herself selling umpalumpa in commercials for shampoo and misusing her
own beauty, Ms.Scherzinger dropped the ball on being a good role model for young girls/women.

As for "typical female jealousy", suffice it to say that I don't like that women in the media don't always
appreciate how much influence they have over our young nor do they seem to recognize the fact that
they can be successful without selling themselves.

Personally, I believe Ms. Scherzinger is basically insecure and seems to need someone/something outside
herself to have an identity. Perfect example: Lewis Hamilton!

You don't have to agree with my opinion; but, I doubt you'd be able to change it! :wavey:

No that's all great and fine. You don't like Nicole or the route she has taken in her career.

Still fail to see how this qualifies you to say she was no good for Lewis. You have NO idea how they were as a couple or how good they were for each other.

I think Lewis' actions over the last few years are a good indication that the relationship is not working out well for him. That may not be Nicole's fault, but the end result is the same.

Maybe Lewis needs to keep his eyes on the title not the titties.

He will not be the first or the last to be infocused be womenfolk. Think how the end of Rush would of finished if Lauda was not cat whiped

It doesn't qualify me any more than it qualifies any of us who are posting opinions/comments regarding any of the drivers on the grid, eh?
NONE of us know anything that goes on behind closed doors; but, that hasn't stopped us from offering opinions, has it?

I offered my own opinion based on what I have seen of her in the public domain. I have come to my opinion about them as a couple based
on Hamilton's own comments regarding his own performance on track reflecting his personal life and the comments made by his own fans.

That does NOT make me an expert; but, remember, I did not hold myself up to be one! :wavey:

You presented it as fact, not opinion. That's my beef.

Maybe its just miscommunication, and we should leave it there.

I really do NOT know why Anthony Hamilton would even need to mention this as evidence in his suit against Di Resta; but, you heard it here:

staff wrote:">Formula 1 - Lewis Hamilton 'broke £2.5m promise to his dad'

Lewis Hamilton broke a promise to his father Anthony when he abruptly withdrew an offer to give him £2.5 million around the time of their split in 2010, a court has heard.

Image

Anthony Hamilton told the court that while he was his manager he had never been paid by, or accepted gifts from, his son.

“Some of us do it so that our kids have better opportunities than we had,” Hamilton said of his relationship with son Lewis.

“For the love of the child. When he won his title in 2008 he thanked me and that was all I needed for my 18 years of toil and graft.”

However, at the start of 2010, around the time the pair split, the McLaren star suddenly offered to give his father “between $3-4million”.

Hamilton claimed that he had no idea why the money was offered. “Maybe he was feeling guilty,” Hamilton said of his son. "I never asked [for the gift] but he did propose to give me one."

The offer of "$3-4million" made in March 2010 was suddenly withdrawn and when asked why that was, Hamilton said he had no idea.

“It is not my place to go money-grabbing to my son,” Hamilton said. “It’s not my business. He makes his own decisions.”

When then asked whether he had paid £3m cash for a new home in 2008, Hamilton replied: “No, I think you’ll find there is a mortgage on that.

“It was important for me to be successful with my own company before Lewis got into Formula One because I never wanted to rely on him for money.”

Earlier on in proceedings, Hamilton said he was prepared to “swerve the truth” in his role as a driver manager as long as it was to advance his client’s career.

“Just to be clear, there is lying and there is swerving the truth,” he said. “I don’t do anything fraudulent.”

The claims came on another day of explosive allegations in Anthony’s damages lawsuit against British Formula One driver Paul di Resta.

Di Resta, in his defence against Hamilton’s charge of unlawful termination of contract, alleges that he was misled over a multimillion-pound deal with an energy drinks company called Go Fast that ultimately never came to fruition.

The trial is due to end on December 17 with a judgment not expected until mid-January.

Yeah I read that in a newspaper last week. Not sure what that's all about, it doesn't sound like Lewis. I'd like to hear more about that before passing comment.

Amongst all the knee jerk reactions from ex drivers and general bandwagon opinions linking Lewis' 2013 to how he was matched by Nico or only got a win or only came fourth

On track, where he does his real business, Hamilton is the best of the best. In Gilles Villeneuve style he will drive whatever you give him blisteringly quickly, no holds barred and he adds to that ethos by being a great racer with a big heart, which he allows all to see beating.

Lewis is ‘The Dude’ and without him Formula 1 would be a lot duller and for sure a lot poorer – race wins beckon, Championships beckon – and in 2013 he provided the entertainment which made Vettel’s quadruple title rampage bearable. Thank you Lewis, our Driver of the Year!

Here is a view that considers his first season at a team that went through huge trauma. One I completely agree with

Well done Lewis for making a transition into a massive position for all important 2014 without doing worse than at McLaren the previous year
