The world is mourning his passing today.

South Africa is rejoicing in his life, not mourning his death. Appropriate, I think, for a man who gave hope to so many and taught us all the meaning of the word sacrifice.

This sucks, what a legend though... RIP. If there's such thing as a heaven it's a +1 now.

R.I.P Nelson.

What an amazing life he had. The courage to take on a whole establishment, and then to take everything it could dish out and still come out smiling.

Great man!

And what a smile! Such a lovely face, lovely man.

Nelson Mandela is synonymous with peace and strength!
He never betrayed his principles and was always ready
to walk the talk. He preferred to serve his people and
his country, rather than be served.

Incredible man! Incredible life! Incredible legacy!

Thoughts and prayers!!

Nelson made us understand that forgiveness is more powerful than hatred or revenge.

RIP Madiba!

You're not alone, Margaret Thacher, Dick Cheney, the CIA, all perhaps shared your point of view.

And the Ku Klux Klan

My statement had nothing to do with race.

I know, there are lots of reasons to disagree with things he did.

I bet your beef is that he was a 'terrorist' at one time. If so they do say 1 mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter, and I am sure most would agree that he was fighting for freedom

I would also say history is written by the victorious.

When you think about it. Gerry Adams "career" follows a similar path. However Adams has not won his cause

The opinions about the man are yours to have. The cause however is black and white, right or wrong. There is no way to justify any other outcome than the one we've had in South Africa.
