Ron and Lewis meh tired of this crap you lambs sing. Either McLaren have no Passion a cold environment yet when there is a hint of a family and passion in the McLaren team you guys jump on that and claim unfair.

i mean ffs look at your own beloved teams cheaqured history of team orders and favouritism i would stfu real quick in order to stop making yourself look like you have double standards and reek of hypocricy!

No we don't. Contract with both drivers (including all financial details) was made before the season starts. At that point LH was well known and proved quantity everyone knew of being capable to deliver top results. Heiki is unknown entity and it is only logical that no one wants to overpay for "cat in the bag".

But contracts aside (and we do agree car is not part of the contract), everything drivers achieve - and get extra rewarded - during the championship should be valued equally.

And if Heiki wins championship - or finishes with higher points than LH - of course his next contract should be fat as. Or fattier. But car is extra reward for achievement, and not offering same reward for both drivers is basically saying that Heiki's achievements are not valued and important for the team as LH's; he can win the championship but hey, it's not the same because he is not LH..?

I guess reason for my dissatisfaction about this car deal is actually about Hammy - Ron relationship, which I'm finding was part - or even the core - of Alonso issue McLaren had last season. And while I like Heiki, I'd still prefer if 2007 didn't happen (as it did) and we still have content Alonso in McLaren.

As I see it, Ron has showed very personal and biased affection toward one driver which resulted in disastrous outcome for the whole team. And he's still doing the same.

I guess reason for my dissatisfaction about this car deal is actually about Hammy - Ron relationship, which I'm finding was part - or even the core - of Alonso issue McLaren had last season.
