I think if the calming influence of Brawn leaves it could cause an issue in the ensuing power struggle. It al depends on the dynamics of the teams hiarachy which no one one the outside of the team will know.

I think the following story has about as much chance of coming true as a one-armed blind man sitting on a jackhammer successfully threading a needle.

Title of the article translates to Newey or Brawn being grabbed by Ferrari in 2014.

Interesting speculation that Newey needs a challenge, and, as the engines will become so important from next year, he will see who has the best engine. The article speculates that Newey knows the state of the Renault engine and he thinks both Merc and Ferrari will do better. It also speculates that although he doesn't like ITaly, the challenge to get Ferrari back in the winners circle would be a great one for him to pull off.

From Ferrari's point of view, if they could get Newey parked in 2014 on gardening leave that would really take a big weapon away from the fromnt running Red Bull team. It does also speculate that Newey might also move to Mercedes.

Brawn back to Ferrari might seem a little more likely, but I'm not sure it will happen as I don't see any moves to get rid of SD (sadly) and I don't think Ross would take any lesser role.

To be fair, Newey winning the title with Ferrari is about the only thing he hasnt done, but I dont think the Ferrari politics will suit him and can't see it happening. He basically has a free reign at Red Bull to do what he wants, as we have seen with Alonso I dont think he would get that (believe RB let their drivers speak freely without public bashing)

Imagine Brawn to Marussia then.

People do realise that Brawn and Newey's roles are different right? One is a designer and the other a team principal. There is no reason why Brawn and Newey couldn't be in the same team... Hmmm... Maybe Brawn could come to Red Bull... 8-)

Newey to Ferrari would be a crowning glory. He would of worked for all the legacy teams.

I don't really think they need Brawn to keep winning.

I wonder why Hulk jumps around so much. Why not just stay at sauber? Does he think Force India will be more competitive next year? Apparently that's not what he thought last year.

I can definitely see why he'd want to go to lotus - that's a big step up. But going from midfield team to midfield team just seems pointless and maybe even counterproductive.

Hulk living up to his name....prominently jumping from building to building but the star is still the arrogant twit called Ironman.

Force India will have the Mercedes engine, Sauber won't. I don't know if that's reason enough (perhaps he's privy to some rumors we're not) but yeah, don't know why he's going back other than they were seriously courting him and the Lotus deal fell through.

As I understand it, Sauber have made moves which mean Hulk can't stay there. This suggests that Sutil's sponsorship from Medion was significant enough for them to consider; with Sirotkin not looking ready, they're probably going to have to hold on to Gutiérrez as well.

I'm not sure going to Force India is such a bad move for the Hulk. FI were pretty much on their game before the tire switch and with the change in spec for next year, any of the low funded teams is capable of a shot in the dark that hits the target. I don't see Lotus (without Maldomoney) as being a significantly better choice than Force India.
