It seems that already things are not rosy at Ferrari. Luca has banned Alonso form using twitter to refer to anything about Ferrari. Over to you. Fernando :hooli-popcorn:

Personally, I don't have a problem with that decision!
I'm not sure that sharing every little detail in your life is necessary,
whether it's work related or personal!! Nor am I sure that it's necessary,
as a fan, to read about every detail at Ferrari (or any other team)!!

There have been all sorts of incidents where people have "tweeted"
(as cute at that word is, it truly lacks "dignity") something in the heat
of the moment and once it's "out there" there is no way to take it back.

Just a quick video about sharing everything about everyone all the time:

Again, so what if that's what di Montezemolo stipulates? At the end of
the day, as long as he's signing that pay cheque, he has the right!!

There seems to be more prancing around at Ferrari than any directional galloping or trotting

Kimi was insulted for not talking in the media enough and now Alonso talks too much, Montezemolo puts down his drivers in the media but the team refuse to give any details on their 'new engine' c

Should be a slapstick comedy on its way :hooli-popcorn:

Well as someone with no vested interest I just watch with interest. A few points that spring to mind are these
1. Luca clearly wants to point out that Ferrari is bigger than Alonso, I'm not sure he's going about it the right way.
2. What's in the contract. Can he stop Alonso saying what he wants on twitter?
3. What does Alonso hope to gain by pissing off his boss?
4. What does Luca hope to gain by pissing off Alonso.
5. Alonso has a big ego, I can't see him letting it rest there. He's already used the Samuri line. Now I suspect he will use an even more obscure reference when talking about Ferrari.
6. Alonso has a habit of coming through scandal unscathed, blackmail gate, crash gate, team orders gate. Probably more gates. He didn't get the nickname Teflonso for nothing. I wouldn't bet on him being stumped by twitter gate.

I await the next move. :P

When Ferrari, the most political minded team, took on Alonso, the most 'high maintenance' driver years ago and turned the whole team round him (dumping their WDC driver in the process) many eyebrows were raised. Afterall Alonso had managed to leave every single team in his wake on a sour note, crashgates, bribegates and all sorts. Every team falls out with him and tries to 'hold him back' and so he is obliged to go into the welcoming arms of the next.

Then at Ferrari you have Montezemolo who does the TP job when he feels like it and Domenically is the TP who isnt really in charge.

So you have a good old power struggle between the favourite son who is a bit too wily for the patriach who to be fair is a few marbles short of a full picnic hamper. Alonso doesnt usually hang around after turning on the team, this time he wont go as he has nowhere to go and the team cant sack him as its too expensive. The next trick would be to bring back the prodigal son and favour him to spite the favourite.

And the prodigal son is Kimi who might have his own ideas once the season is underway. Next year the team will have to hope the car is very good otherwise there is gonna be Alonso at his devious best with nothing to lose knowing Kimi could be on his side

All depends how bad the car is for how much quality entertainment there will be

:yes::yes::yes::yes:

The foundations are showing some serious cracks in Ferrari right now, any more pressure could cause some fractures within the team; Kimi and Alonso could be that pressure. Even Lewis wasn't banned from Twitter after tweeting super secret setup data.

Not to worry, Luca is just setting the drivers up as his scapegoat. He's done that before, and will do it again. Kimi and Fred will do fine if the car works. If Ferrari produces another truck, well we already know where the blame will go.

The blame might even be that they werent allowed unlimited testing

Apparently they claimed that the stewards giving Massa a drive through in Brazil cost them 2nd place money in the WCC :yikes:

But the stewards tried to right their error by giving Lewis one. If neither had had one, Merc would have won by more points than they did.

Thats Ferrari logic for you, they forgot about all the races Massa had chances to gain more points. Cant expect more from a team whos leader believes Glock falling back a place on the wrong tyres in the rain was 'mysterious'

I don't understand why Ferrari all of the sudden is so miffed about coming in less than second in the constructor's race. They've done that four out of the last five seasons.

The youtube video of the new new V6 turbo road going Ferrari sounds nice. Not sure the roof scoop will catch on
