I would have to say when I saw the replays, to me it looked like Hamilton drove into Bottas.

Should Bottas have moved over more? Or did he have the right to stick on the line he had....?

Either way it lost him 3rd in the WDC.

Of course he moved into Bottas. It's as plain as day.

Maybe... maybe he didn't expect to have to resort to that...

Maybe? Ah well, it's not important either way.

Is it f!ck. And that's the end of my participation in this.

He's defending his line and gave Bottas enough room. It's called racing and therefore a racing incident. I'm not sure why you're so peeved about it, I'm okay with what happened, I'm not okay with the guy being given a drive though. But like we've said, the season is over, and Mercedes made a fantastic jump with the driver team of Lewis and Nico.

I'm going to look forward to Lewis sporting a number 3 on his car next year the same number as he in 2008 his championship season. :D

I'm not peeved at all, I just don't understand the fierce defence of what I see as his mistake. But anyway, we're above all this arguing nonsense. Let's just accept we disagree.

Well done to Lewis Hamilton and Merc for their job this year. They exceeded expectations. Let's see if their form continues. As a McLaren fan, I can only hope we'll be having a more equal rivalry next year.

You mean he tried to unlap himself but didn't expect the move to be defended? Defended fairly I might add as Lewis left Bottas room had he chosen to use it.

Bottas could have moved, but is in no obligation to move all the way to the right, he was driving straight and Hamilton drifted into the side of him, Hamilton's fault? Yes, Racing incident? Yes, deserving of a drive through? No.

You need better presenters, that's what I saw on my television in the world feed... where were they looking?

So all the other drivers who banged wheels or nudged each other in the heat of racing are all ok. But Hamilton doesnt see a back marker trying a maldonado must be guilty because, just because. And he must have pushed the guy to the edge of the track, no, squeezed him in Vettel style, and ofcourse we all know Lewis isnt even allowed one move on the racing line in the braking zone.

But he must be guilty, he caused poor Bottas to have 4 wheels beyond the theoretical white line that defines the 'racing line track within the normal track boundaries' . This is a new rule that will be brought in - there is a racing 'channel' and the guy behind is entitled to drive into it and the Lewis in front cannot move if it pushes the other driver beyond it

You would think Lewis was wearing a different colour helmet to everyone else or something. Yup he must be guilty

You have to wonder what Bottas was doing there. Was he going to drive around the outside of Hamilton, and expect to gain the advantage?

If he hadn't been hit he probably would have had to yield mid-corner anway. Silly move.
