Doesn't this show how little faith the drivers have in the Pirelli tires??

The problem is not the drivers, nor the tires. The problem is a track design that allows rivers of water to flow across it, something no tires can solve. Building a track in a rain forest makes about as much sense, as holding a race during monsoon season.
