Kinda like the "he's not the first politician who ...." defense. It's all just so much , what matters is what Rob Ford is doing. It is his behaviour that is being called into question. If you are going to allow yourself to get out of control in a public way, you will have to answer for it. He is the mayor, time to stop excusing his behaviour.

I am not defending him, so much as I'm disgusted that those politicians who are guilty of their own sins
are standing in line to persecute and prosecute!

As I said earlier, it's a witch hunt. He has made his own mistakes; but, there are many who have been
waiting in the wings for such a moment and they are after him, with both guns a-blazin'!!

Again, he has messed up, no doubt about it!!

We had an MP, Andrew Mitchell, who had to resign after calling a police officer a 'pleb'. For not opening a gate. Even though eventually it turns out he probably never said it.

Rob's latest outburst (discussing cats in public???) may have been the last straw, as sanctions and lawsuits are likely to follow. No worries for Ford, as he can likely buy his way out of any difficulties.

You don't hear it in that particular clip; but, in the one I heard
(( and can't find, right now )), one of the reporters can be
heard saying ""I f**king love this guy!!""
What isn't clear is if he was impressed with Ford or happy to have so
much to write about, lately!!

Well today, in the middle of a major ruckus that saw one female councillor get knocked to the floor, Ford declared that he was Kuwait being attacked by Iraq, but he would .... blah, blah, blah .... I missed the rest (laughing too hard.
