Good to see Lewis finally GAIN positions at the start.

The whole field were so close bar the RBs....the RBs pace is just ridiculous. I know this isn't the first time I've said this but Webber was playing around with Hamilton and Grosjean, and for some reason at the end lost tyres, probably because of playing around too much!

Merc extends advantage for 2nd, Hamilton with a sterling drive as usual and Nico recovers for points.

Great drive by Perez, making McLaren look like idiots right now. And the Hulk. Oh and Bottas gets 8th....so,

Not a lot happening in these race threads these days. It was a bit of a snooze fest. Almost fell asleep... The racing taking place behind Vettel was mediocre to say the least. This confirms my earlier suspicions that COTA is a terrible race track. Always bound to happen when you try to rip off famous corners from other circuits...

The only thing remotely unique about that track is turn 1...

At least Indianapolis had character with it's banked section...
