Nothing new up front, but I must admit to surprise at how well HEIKKI adapted to the Lotus. He showed such promise at Renault before being dumped for Alonso years back, and has never seemed to recapture that speed and aggressiveness. Good to see him perform at that level again.

Today was awesome. The cars are so $#@!in loud!!! I never really knew what was going on as far as cautions and such because I couldn't hear the speakers over the cars and I wasn't always near a big screen to see what the deal was. Didn't matter to me though, I'm there for the sights and the sounds and the women and the drinks, not so much worried about peoples' pace this weekend

I also dropped about $400 in merch and drinks/food. I bought a lotus team polo, a US GP shirt, two US GP shot glasses, two taller US GP shot glasses, two COTA glasses, a Mark Webber t-shirt and four mclaren key chains that were replicas of one of the cars. Not exactly sure what the model was, I'm thinking about 2008/9 model. I bought four so I could share three with friends and home and the g/f

edit: I'll have a couple short videos up later tonight (If I dont' get back to the hotel completely trashed)
