Thanks everyone! Been a whirlwind couple of days!

Jabberwocky - I've had a quick look at the page, will have a better look when I get the time to! :)

Spanky - He had a bit of a red face and bruising from the forceps, which was a shame, and for a couple of minutes I thought there might have been a bit of red hair - but it was just the lighting, it's very much brown. Babies must be so resiliant though, almost all of the markings are gone now, barely a day later!

Everyone else - I had my table names at my wedding as F1 and other motorsport driver names, I think I'd have been knocked out if I'd suggested one for our child's name.... :) We've named him Dylan, though he does have William as his middle name, so just an 's' short of being named after Sir Frank!! :P

Biggest bit of advice I can give is when changing and moving lil babies. They are not fragile and all there joints work. I was always terrible with them at tjat age with things like trying to get them dressed without moving limbs etc

My younger brother is called Dylan. Nice name. :)

I instantly imagine him being DylEngBridewell (except I always read your name as LewEngBridgewell, until just then. Odd.)

That's an awesome name. There are loads of really good boys names out there. My wife and I are struggling to agree on a girls name for our bump at the min.

Hope you are having fun, and not rocking in a corner crying.....

Jabberwocky - Haha, I know what you mean, but I'm not bad, I had a bit of experience with both of my wee cousins and my two nieces when they were tiny. Think my wife is a bit more timid / paranoid than I am. :)

LRW - Yeah, we had a similar time with baby names while the baby was still a bump - again because we didn't know if it was a boy or a girl, I think psychologically you don't want to get your heart set on a name only to find out it's the opposite gender to what you thought. We knew within about 5 minutes of him being born what he was called though... :)

Thanks again everyone! Hopefully mum and baby will get out of hospital today finally. :)

Agreed that the baby name works as soon as you see them. Also girls names are harder to choose than boys.

I'd say girls are easier.

The only F1-related girl's name I can think of is Elly, for Pirelli....
