If at mid-season Vettel and Dead Bull aren't on top Bernie :twisted: will change the points system to favor Vettel and Dead Bull so they can come back to win just like he did midseason 2013 by mandating (excuse me pay Pirelli to declare a change due to safety) tire construction changes to favor the Dead Bull chassis

I doubt Vettel would of won the championship if the tire construction change did not happen

Is a ferrari fan really complaining about preferential treatment?

:yes::rofl::yes::clap:

Of course!! Under Domenicali's leadership it seems to have become the norm to be like everyone else!! :twisted:

(( I'll apologize, in advance; but, I really could not resist!! :wavey: ))

As much as I hate to say it, a spec series might be the best future for formula 1. No one (apart from an energy drink company) wants to bring development money to F1 because the tech is no longer relevant to road cars, so its claim as "the pinnacle of motorsport" really is false nowadays. If people want to watch high-budget prototypes with relevant tech to the real world, LMP1 is where you will find them.

The GT classes are pretty damned innovative as well!

Porsche is using the technology in their 918 Spyder.

That's exactly what I mean. If F1 was the pinnacle of motorsport tech, that should have emerged in F1, and then been implemented into road cars, not the other way around. Anyway, isn't the 918 system more similar to the tech developed for Le Mans prototypes (flywheel instead of batteries)?

I wonder if maybe just spec Aero would work. Since aerodynamics over 60mph are pretty much worthless in regards to road cars, give them a body shell and wings to work with, and let them dump the R&D money into the parts of the car that are still somewhat relevant to road cars: engine, suspension, energy recovery, etc. If they did that, maybe they would have ended up with a cool hybrid system years ago.

I want a double blow diffuser on my Ford Mondeo.

You know you're still going to hit 60 Mph in 13.6 seconds, even with the diffuser.

Try 8.4 bitch!

But I wanna go faster round roundabouts. I know you don't understand that sort of thing over there.

Oh, 8.4 yeah... you're right about us not understanding that sort of thing that's because I'm usually in the 95 Mph neighborhood by then. :whip:

And yet you are still as middle-aged and uncool as I am. The only difference is Im getting 45mpg, whilst you are probably getting 18. So I have more money to spend on beer. :wink:
