Anybody heard the bit on NBCSN about SV helping the Red Bull pit crew with packing up after the race in India so that they could also celebrate his and their 4th title?
He's just a down-to-earth and nice young guy who cares about the people around him (apart from his team mate).

Isn't that what they say about serial killers and paedophiles before they're found out too?

Nah, not the caring about the people around them - that's not usually part of the profile.

The international press is running out of superlatives

They will make up some new ones - thats what the press do best. Probably in some bar far away from the race track

It's the least he could do. After they gave him a car two seconds faster than all the others and kept his team mate out of his way. What's a bit of packing up in return for that.

Well Kimi certainly doesn't he's outa there in flip flops :hehe:
But to be fair you don't get to se what the drivers do.
And having been given his fourth world championship Vettel was likely feeling benevolent.

More like after the booing he has been told to look more helpful to his team, stop with the finger etc

how come we never heard of Seb helping the team pack up for the last few years?

He also helps old ladies across the road and sells christmas trees to raise money for the Girl Guides.

It does seem like the PR machine has gone into overdrive.

You all know I'm a Tifosa first and foremost; but, I really think Vettel is taking a lot of flack!
He is not of our generation! His generation is about "instant gratification" and that's just how it is!
When they do succeed, they celebrate. Period.

Where most of us might sit down with friends and have a glass of wine and chat about the race,
his generation will party hard.

Nothing wrong with either, or even anything in between!

It is what it is.

Don't really think it's a generation thing. I don't have Vettel down as a party animal! Kimi yes! but he's the old guy here not the youngster.
