I don't think he's handsome. And he certainly doesn't disturb me. He irritates me.

That's because you've been hanging around here so long that you've begun to appreciate overweight hairy men with below average duck size.

Now THAT disturbs me!

dis·turb (d-stûrb)
tr.v. dis·turbed, dis·turb·ing, dis·turbs
1. To break up or destroy the tranquillity or settled state of: "Subterranean fires and deep unrest disturb the whole area" (Rachel Carson).
2. To trouble emotionally or mentally; upset.

When disturbing and goodlooking are used in conjunction, its safe to conclude that the appraisal involves wet dreams and desires of the flesh

When actually uttered by a TP of a sport that is primarily about sporting ability it becomes suspicious

When a lame duck is suddenly promoted at the detriment of the best sporting asset in the team the mind boggles

When Sam Micheal turns up at his side and is introduced as the boss in waiting :yikes:

I'm still puzzled at the disturbingly good looking choice of words. Jenson is handsome, yes. But why would Whitmarsh use the word "disturbingly". I'm not disturbed by a good looking man.

Some more analysis of the Daily Heil article

http://www.formula1blog.com/formula-1/wait-everyone-wants-button-now/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

Silly Season is in full swing with rumors of Nico Hulkenberg, Fernando Alonso, Pastor Maldonado, Sergio Perez, Felipe Massa and Jenson Button making the rounds—yes, Jenson Button.

That’s because McLaren have not announced their driver lineup for 2014 and some suggest that the team will offer Button a contract extension. According to the Daily Mail:

‘The team are already planning for 2015 and are ready to offer Button the chance of up to three more seasons as they strive to build a partnership with Honda which can rekindle the kind of success they enjoyed when Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost were behind the wheel,’ the newspaper reported.’

The Mail goes on to suggest, however, that Button may not be around for the return of Honda to Formula 1 as McLaren’s engine partner because he’s on some teams wanted list.

‘Sources at Red Bull and Ferrari admit the Brit is on their wanted list, while at the end of next year all the top teams will be in a state of flux over their driver line-up,’

Now this could all be on the up and up and I obviously do not know who their “sources” are but it sounds a little strange to me. Would you offer Button a 3-year deal at McLaren and if you were Red Bull or Ferrari, would you be gunning for Button?

I like Jenson a lot and I’ve always rated him even when other didn’t. He reminds me of Prost with his smooth driving skills and he has terrific race vision from inside the cockpit. He knows what’s going on and how to read a race.

Having said that, I wonder if a Red Bull or Ferrari drive makes sense. The Mail goes on to suggest that Lewis Hamilton would like him as a teammate again and that Lotus F1 rate him too.

It started to occur to if the Mail keeps this up, Force India, Caterham, Marussia, Sauber and Toro Rosso all rate Button and would like to have him on the team. I’m a fan but not an apologist for heaven’s sake.

Jenson Button was left "very puzzled" after he failed to live up to the promise he had shown in practice for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix when it really mattered in qualifying.

Button was knocked out in Q2 when he failed to make the cut by nearly 0.4s, which was also the margin to his McLaren team-mate Sergio Perez. Button had been sixth fastest in final practice and his team appears to have made progress at the last two weekends, making the lack of pace when it mattered even more confusing.

"I was very puzzled because this morning it was working really well and I've actually been happy with the car all weekend up to qualifying," he said. "We've struggled because of the cooler temperatures and we can't get enough front end in the car. I'm maxed out on the front wing and I have to take so much rear wing off to try and help the balance of the car, but still it was nowhere near enough. The car was completely different to what I experienced all weekend."

Asked if he was running the same set-up as Perez, who qualified eighth, he added: "The cars are very different but that shouldn't matter because the car is working as we set it up all weekend."

I kind of wish this guy keeps driving next year...his interviews have just become pure joke material by now.

Buttons getting found out. Considering his team leader status and obvious first call on strategy etc, with Sergio fighting for his place, even the most loved up, star struck, disturbed, excitable TP has to see that Sergio ain't bad at 1/15 of Buttons 15 mill wage

He'd already assumed that role before the arrival of Perez.

So Red Bull and Ferrari were interested in him, they already confirmed their seats quite some time ago.
The article was written in October, Red Bull and Ferrari already confirmed their seats for 2014 in September :rofl:
