Whilst I agree with you that it was 100% the other women's fault and responsibility, most people in that situation would of stopped to help pick up the screaming child. . . . . (I believe)
In general - yes - but it's quite clear in the video that as he looks back immediately after the child has fallen over when he realised what happened ( by which point he was already some yards away), somebody else has already gone to check on the child's boo-boo. The child was
not lying on the ground alone. It's different too if it's quite clear what has happened immediately, but as he was clearly already walking quickly, he was already way past the scene by the time he realised what had happened. At that point - it wasn't a question of
stopping to help, it would have been a question of
going back to help,which really was
not necessary, and in fact likely would have validated the horribly selfish woman's behaviour.
