...If anyone else in the paddock did that and walked away, they'd probably be boo'ed across continents like Vettel is now. :hehe: But 'James Hunt' seems immune to ridicule.

What annoys me to NO end about that clip is that NO one seems to think the woman did anything wrong!!
SHE ignored the child SHE was entrusted with (don't know if its her own) just so SHE could chase after Kimi!!
AND, IF you look closely (without a closed mind), you'll see that
a) from his point of view, he can't even see there's a little girl behind the woman; and,
b) it's the woman and her clipboard that actually hits the little girl and then knocks her down!!

If Kimi was leading the championship for 4 years, it would be worse than it is for Vettel

Agreed, he also points back at the kid like "You should probably go check them"

That woman probably was forced to bring the Kids to the race because she could not find a baby sitter. Thats why she doesn't care.

Yeah yeah yeah, I've seen that side of the argument but the kid was knocked down and crying. So you're saying in a department store if you contributed to knock a kid down, it's totally fair to just walk away? Even if it's not really your fault? Jeez, I'm not a kid person but even I would've stopped for 2 seconds to check if the kid is alright.

The point is, IF it was anyone else in Kimi's position...the treatment would be blown out of proportion. I'm not saying Kimi is a complete d!ck in the video, I don't care really...what I care about is the big free pass he gets in a lot of things which other drivers can only dream of having.

I remember one year in Hungary Kimi was allegedly done for drink driving and had his passport confiscated and could not leave the country with the rest of the team the next day.

Then we have all heard the stories of Kimis drunken chatup technique to exotic dancers in bars

His attitude is questionable at times and Ferrari are displaying all their traditional efficiency and business sense by thinking the Kimi who is number 1 in a Lotus team where he can tell the pitwall to go do one is going to suddenly become the Kimi who fits into the 'scratch my back' spahetti culture

just like he did a few years ago

Well I do.

Well you can stop caring. :hehe:

Raikkonen threatens to skip final races

Kimi Raikkonen has threatened not to turn up to the final two races of the season if an agreement over his missing payments is not stuck to for the rest of the season.

Raikkonen did not show in the paddock on Thursday and said he only arrived on Friday when he reached an agreement with the team over his pay. He will take part in this weekend's race but said he would reconsider the final two grands prix of 2013 if the team does not stick to its side of the deal.

Asked if he would consider hold the threat over the team, he said: "Yeah, for sure. I enjoy racing and I enjoy driving but there's a big part of it that's business and sometimes when that's not dealt with like it should be we end up in unfortunate situations. You have to put the line somewhere and if it goes over that it is not really my fault anymore."

Tensions between team and driver peaked at last weekend's Indian Grand Prix when the pit wall used colourful language to tell him to move aside and let team-mate Romain Grosjean through. But Raikkonen claims the real issue is that he has not been paid all year.

"It's a small part of it and those things shouldn't happen, but unfortunately those things happened, but that's not really the issue," he said. "It's the other stuff and all the things together in the end. It's easy to say that's the reason, but it's not that.

"Everybody has their own view and own ideas of everything and sometimes it's not very nice when you hear that you don't have the interest of the team. Then you've been paid zero Euro the whole year so it kind of doesn't put you in the best place. But that's the way it goes and hopefully we've found an understanding on both sides as to how we should deal with the situation right now and fix the issues."

Lotus team principal said the issue was being discussed between Raikkonen and team owner Gerard Lopez.

"There are discussions between Gerard and Kimi and it obviously involves our parent company and shareholders," he said. "Kimi has some emotions, yes. He's not an Iceman like we all believe he is. He's a normal guy."

Raikkonen is due to leave Lotus for Ferrari at the end of the season.

A veiled poke at Raikkonen from Lopez? "Stop believing the hype, Kimi ain't James Hunt". :hehe:

We'll I was thinking more of the fact that it was arranged last weekend that he wouldn't be arriving until Thursday, so why was it suddenly a big issue?
