Brundle's column was an accusation without the evidence to back it up. This story seems to be in the same box so editors will not publish it if they cannot prove it especially seeing what happened to the daily express

Well there does seem to be photographic evidence. If it is digitally 'manufactured' then the News of the world is in deep trouble, there also seems to be the evidence of the prosttitutes involved. If this is one big false story then NotW should be closed down, however, I think it unlikely that it is entirely false.
I am just amazed that no-one else seems to have picked up on this story.
i suspect that this was a NotW set up, why else would there be cameras?

Herewith some articles from the Daily Mail

Formula One ruler Max Mosley last night won the influential backing of Bernie Ecclestone after a lurid Sunday newspaper expose left him battling for his job.

While several senior figures within the sport privately questioned how Mosley can continue as FIA president, the man who has worked closest with him in transforming F1 into a billion dollar enterprise remained loyal.
Formula One motor racing chief Max Mosley is battling to keep his job today after it was revealed he had taken part in a Nazi-style umpalumpa orgy with five prostitutes.

Jewish groups condemned Mr Mosley, whose father, Oswald, led the British Union of Fascists in the 1930s and was a friend of Adolf Hitler.

The 67-year-old father of two was caught on video by the News of the World in a "torture chamber" set up in a £2million Chelsea flat.

Mr Mosley, who is the president of the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), is allegedly shown enacting a concentration camp-style scene in which he plays both victim and guard.

Max Mosley: Embroiled in 'sensational umpalumpa scandal'

One woman inspects his head for lice before he is interrogated and whipped. Mr Mosley then switches roles and "tortures" one of the prostitutes. He even issues orders in German.

It was claimed he paid £2,500 in cash for the orgy, which is said to have lasted five hours.

Formula One's commercial rights holder Bernie Ecclestone sprang to Mr Mosley's defence, claiming the allegations would not affect his position at the head of the FIA.

He said: "I've known him an awful long time. If somebody had told me this without the evidence I would have found it difficult to believe.

"Assuming it's all true, what people do privately is up to them. I don't honestly believe it affects the sport in any way.

"Knowing Max it might be all a bit of a joke. You know, it's one of those things where he's sort of taking the p***, rather than anything against Jewish people."

The FIA insisted it was a matter "between Mr Mosley and the newspaper". A spokesman added: "We understand that Mr Mosley's lawyers are now in contact with that newspaper and the FIA has no comment."

But Jewish groups slammed the motorsports chief. Karen Pollock, chief executive of the Holocaust Educational Trust, said: "This is sick and depraved. For anyone to be in such a position of influence and power beggars belief. I am absolutely appalled."

The multi-millionaire former barrister has been married to wife Jean since 1960 and lives in Monaco. He is understood to be pursuing legal action against the News of The World for breach of privacy.

The FIA could force a vote of no-confidence in Mosley. For now, he has engaged his lawyers and intends to be in Bahrain for Sunday's grand prix, dismissing all talk of resignation.

So, it seems that yet again MM pokes 2 fingers up to everyone and continues on his way. The fact that B.E. seems to support him is just appalling. This story will bring disrepute to motor sport. This is not just a case of a 'celebrity' having rumpy pumpy with a hotel waitress, it is so much more than that, and I am astonished that Bernie can be so offhand about it. Are the dodgy brigade just looking after each other?
Will the FIA force a vote of no confidence - it seems unlikely. I don't know how low the FIA has to get before someone sorts it out.
A veritable nest of vipers.

Wait.

If he's taking them to court over a breach of privacy...then it's definitely true. And how Bernie can dismiss something like that as a joke is just beyond me. It's ridiculous that there's even a chance that this could all just be pushed to one side as if it doesn't matter.

Personally, I can't wait for Brundle to have a say on this :D

Hows he gonna blame McLaren for this one eh?:mrgreen:

Well... what do you think who's set him up? Jean Todt, maybe?

Brundle said this today...

Martin Brundle, the driver-turned-pundit who was recently the subject of a libel action brought by Mr Mosley, said: “It’s not appropriate behaviour for the head of any global body such as the FIA.”

I don't see how he can stay put. If he survives this the F1 is going hell in a hand basket.

Agreed 8-Ball and with what Brundle said, in most sporting governing bodies this wouldnt be tolerated heck even poltics as we have just seen with the NY Govenor, but with the FIA i wouldnt be surprised if he stayed, its a bloody boys club afterall!

I don't see how it being a joke is even acceptable anyway, the holocaust and all related Nazi acts are atrocities against mankind and no laughing matter. Joking about them is sick, especially reenacting them for sexual pleasure.

If Von Mosley stays at least he'll be a laughing stock rather that big scarey hard Max, He'll be the BUTT of all the jokes, Ferrari's Whipping boy, I always thought he was a bit Sadistic to McClaren but all along he was a Masochist, I could go on all day.

Ecclestone's comments defy all belief. How can he say motorsport has not been brought into disrepute? How can he say it does not affect his role as the President of the the FIA? It damn well does. Mosley has just rolled out anti-racism campaign for the sport encouraging fans to behave properly. Why should we listen to him when Mosley is having anti-semitic orgies? How can brand the Spanish people wrong with his opinions and low values? How can he talk about moral issues in the sport, such as McLaren and Ron Dennis' moral rectitude?

Mosley and Ecclestone have been keen to tell us all sport and politics go hand-in-hand. Well, the floor of Mosley's legitimacy and credibility has fallen through into the abyss. Nobody can trust him. Nobody can take him seriously. And nobody can do as a charlatan and a hypocrite says. If he has even a shred of self-respect he would do the decent thing: his last act as FIA President should be his formal resignation, right now.
