Just back from Golspie, with another win and leading the Scottish championship.

Qualifyed 2nd and won both my heats.

Won my pre-final after a collision and was told that I would have my license taking away from me.

Just before the final it started raining so I went to wets, then it dried just as fast and with the race ready to go I was the only man on wets, with a bone dry track.. Luckily my friends dad was able to help me get the slicks on and get away, although the front wheels were not put on right (and wobbling slightly) and the wheels were narrowed in for the wet, so I had virtually 0% grip.

Anyway, I managed to get a lights to flag finish, winning by about 3 seconds..

Next stop is Rowrah, in 2 weeks time!

Cheers mate,

Great to get the season off to a start where I can build upon my performance and hopefully be strong enough throughout the season to take even more victories

I was accused of T-boning an oppenent off of the track, because he was blocking the whole race, moving like 4 times through the straight. I got up his inside and when he turned in I was already there, so he swiped across on me and took himself out.

He is the club champion there, so I was told that if I was to do something like that in the final I would have my license totally taken away from me (1 year ban), instead of the usual 3 points or whatever.. I have never had any points on my license, so not too sure how it works..

indeed I am

Now, I need your help! Who should I contact for sponsorship.. I emailed a few companies and didn't even get a reply from any of them..

I will write letters this time, but what are the best companies to target?

Thanks ;)

Sam,
If I was local I would campaign in my off hour's for sponsorship for you mate as that's what you really need. I have been related in some sort to 'customer service' over the past 25yr's which is basically being a sponsor for your job/company or team so to speak. If I were UK based I KNOW I could get you something but being US based does not mean alot.

I know of the kart shop I bought mine from but I seriously doubt they could do anything as they are semi-small and sponsor ALOT of local karter's. I will make some contact's and not to be negative dont expect much if anything but I will try ok?

Cheers mate,

I always thought like a garage or whatever would be best, but none of them really want to know. One of my mates just got sponsored by a oven cleaning company
