Congrats to the entire team are due. The 2 drivers, Newey of course, and all those who contributed to the effort. A special congrats to Christian Horner for keeping such a talented group on form throughout the season.

Fantastic team, everyone talks about Newey Newey Newey, but he's not the one leading the team or changing tyres at the pitstops with sub 2-3 seconds consistently, it's just a great group of guys working as the most efficient unit in the paddock. Credit to Christian Horner as well, he's the youngest team boss in Formula 1 history with all this success if I'm not mistaken.

Wow, this team has BS written all over...

Christian Horner believes Red Bull would not have won four consecutive titles had anyone other than Sebastian Vettel been driving for the team.

The German took his tenth win of the season at Sunday's Indian Grand Prix to secure his fourth Drivers' Championship, whilst the points were also enough for Red Bull to seal the constructors' crown.

Some fans and critics have tried to diminish the German's achievement by putting the success down to the car, but Horner feels the team would not have been as successful without Vettel.

"I think it is all about the team," he said. "You need a great team and you need great drivers and for sure without Sebastian we wouldn't have won four consecutive World Championships.

"He is now by right one of the all-time greats, he joins a select few. But it needs everything to work in harmony - you can have the best driver in the world, or the best designer in the world, but if you don't have the right team and work as a team, it will never work."

Vettel is the only four-time F1 Champion to win all his titles with one team, but Horner is not worried about the prospect of the German leaving Red Bull and sees no reason why the 26-year-old would want to do so.

"I don't - I think every driver in the pitlane would like to be in one of our cars at the moment," he added.

"Sebastian enjoys driving for the team, he has grown up within the team, he is very much part of the team, why would he want to be anywhere else?

"I think he is focussed on winning and whether that colour is blue, red or silver, he has a tie to this team, he has had all of his success in cars designed in Milton Keynes, he has been a member of the Red Bull junior driver programme - Dietrich Mateschitz has backed him since he was 13 or 14 years of age - and of course there are no guarantees, but it is not about contracts or anything like that, it is about relationships and there is total trust in Sebastian from the team and there is total trust from Sebastian in the team."

No wonder Webber wants to leave Red Bull, he has mug tattooed across his head thanks to Horner...Talk about being unison...

I love the fact Rocky was giving SV grief about going for the fastest lap, right after he had just won the WDC.

Even rocky has had enough of his s***.

Oh the irony of Red Bull (the PR masters) having to launch a PR campaign because it's gotten so bad. :hehe:

It is SOOOO bad! red bull take f1 supporters for idiots. We're not idiots! Vettel is not one of the greats, even though he has announced he is. Stop taking us for fools and you might stop getting booed, and you might get respect. Until you do....suck on it!

I'd respect the team management and Vettel more if they simply said SUCK IT losers, we've completely dominated you on and off the track instead of trying to schmooze us with how it's all due to the legend in the making wunderkind.

So would I! Tell it like it is and you might get respect. Try to take us for for fools and you'll get booed. Tell us you set out to make Vettel a legend and mark was dispensable. Tell us Newey is the legend and Vettel fits the plan. Tel us the truth and you might get respect from the other drivers and you might not get booed...carry on taking us for fools and carry on getting booed and disrespected.

The James Allen pod cast said that they had focused their aerodynamics for a certain speed range. The corner speeds at singapore highlighted it more than elsewhere

Is that why it sounded differently than any other Renault powered car while accelerating out of a corner?

Red Bull played the f1 political game perfectly. They got the rules changed mid season by getting enough other teams to follow them. There were other ways to fix tire problems. You have to congratulate RB on their politics, it took away the competitive season we had and handed them 2 more championships.

My friend we know why Dead Bull won again....they don't have Stepahano running the team. Although I am not a Horner fan you have to admit that Horner motivates the team, gets the best out of the entire team and knows how to read between the lines of the rule book.

It's called the "Unfair Advantage" and has been used by all the best team owners and managers.

Ferrari used the "Unfair Advantage" well in the Todt days. Luca claims that Stephano came up through their system and was the only choice to take the helm after Todt left. My question to Luca is that is true then why is Stepano such a putz?

BTW Horner does what it take to win while Stephano blames the wind tunnel
