It appears that Lotus will sign Hulk for 2014 leaving Massa out in the cold

Well the way I see it Massa has two choices....one is to get on his hands and knees
and beg Luca to put him alongside Bianchi at Marusia

Or there is a seat in the Brazilian TRO series

Edit: Felipe Massa has agreed a five-year deal to stay in formula one next year with the British team Williams, a Brazilian website is reporting.

'Diario Motorsport' said the Brazilian, who has lost his Ferrari race seat, will replace Pastor Maldonado, who could take his lucrative PDVSA backing to Lotus.

The report said the news, with 32-year-old Massa to be "paid a wage" by Williams rather than become a pay-driver, will be announced "in the next days or even hours".

Ugh... Maldonado to Lotus? I'm happy for Massa though.

Its good for both Massa and Williams, assuming Williams can afford a negative pay driver.
Massa has a chance to get paid while crashing out and generally not showing up in most races and Williams have a chance to find new excuses for not moving forward :hehe:

Didnt Massa say he'd NEVER go to a mid-field team...??

Well I suppose he never commented on a back-field team...

Hey, watch it, last year Merc were a mid field team and look at them now, Williams have all to play for and nothing to lose.

He didn't specify a year the team had to be a winning team. Cut come on now, it's going to be a good fit for him at Williams, and a Mercedes engine, and he can go the Rubino route. If Williams produce a challenging car next year and he beats Alonso one or twice, imagine how happy he'll be.

Im just pulling ya tinkle....!!

I think it'll be excellent for Williams - and I cant wait for them to make their comeback.

Mass-Bottas. Very nice indeed.

Massa seems like a good fit for the team, hopefully not being a number 2 driver, and forced to live in someones shadow; is just what he needs to renew his speed he used to have.
