Because mnm - I dont want an argument. I know you like them, but the rest of us tend not to.

I do not like an argument, I DO NOT LIKE BEING ACCUSED of something I have not done.
Something which is factually visible to anyone, that I have not done what you accuse me of.
It's a very simple matter of common decency.

If you don't want to argue with me, do not blame me of things I have not done, or have the decency to admit fault.
I hardly think that is too much to ask.

You've been accused of becoming aggressive and launching personal tirades against other members of the forum when they disagree with your opinion, and there are plenty of factual examples of that behavior on the forum of late, but you don't seem to have a problem with that accussation.

Here is a poll by Autosport of 217 champion drivers (cant get more meaningful than this)

Vettel is 26th out of 40
Lewis is 17th out of 40
Alonso is 9th out of 40

Now here is the really interesting thing, if any stats jockeys out there were to look at ranking vs WDCS won, lets say you would expect the number 1 ranked guy to have the most WDCs, because according to some WDCS are the only arbiter of greantness
If thats the case MS with 7 titles is ranked second
so the 'adjusted for stats lovers' score for Senna is 4/1=4, MS is 7/2 = 3.5, ok so far so good, they are 1st and second

Alonso scores 2/9 =2.2

Seb scores 3/26 = 0.11 (soon to be 0.15)

According to the stats Alonso is not just the third best ever but (wait for it) 20 times better than Seb

Correction: championship drivers. There are only 32 champions.

Contextual fact #1: This was published in 2009.
Contextual fact #2: In 2009, the team bosses voted Vettel driver of the year 2009, over Button, over Hamilton, over Alonso.

I'll bet you $100 that no one would have voted Alonso 9th best in 2004.
Try not to act in such a contextually deceptive manner next time.
