They just auctioned off DC' RB3 on ebay for approximately $330,000 usd. Doesn't that seem surprisingly low for a 2007 F1 car? I mean thats about the cost of a current model Ferrari.

That is a great price for a current F1 car but $330K is small bean's compared to what it will cost to keep it running and being DC's car well that's just bad karma . I wonder if it come's with a hand written script from DC on how to whine about it's lackluster performance?

I thought that was a relatively low price aswell. I was expecting the car to sell for ATLEAST half a million. I was wondering though if it was the whole car they sold, or was it just the photographed body on the car?

It is a very low price, in fact, the car could've gone for that much in sterling and I would still have thought it low. As said, however, the deal does not include fuel, tyres, and other maintenance. That probably put some people off buying it jacks the price away up anyway. You also have to remember the RB3 is one of the most unreliable Formula One cars I can remember, so that's an automatic discount before you start!

I haven't seen the actual ebay listing, but if it didn't include the engine and gearbox then it would be half a car and wouldn't even roll. You do know how F1 cars are constructed right?

I would have bought it only i just got a corsa and cant fit both in the garage.... plus it never had a cd player

It's weird about engines in old F1 cars, they seem to always have their engines and transmissions, but that seems a bit paradoxical to the engine supply arrangement that I understand, wherein once a certain engine is finished its use, like in the case of 2008 lasting 4 races, it goes back to the supplier to be made new again, and a new one is put in, kind of like a rental agreement.

They should have included DC's chin!!! With that, you dont need an engine or transmission!!
