You mean like when Bernies birthday present to Sir Frank was Maldonardo won a race.

Didn't Sir Frank have a birthday this year as well? Bernie must have forgotten.

I think that when Maldonado won, Sir Frank had a "milestone" birthday... 70, if I'm not mistaken!

Martin forgot to hand Lewis the memo before quali though.

And both Martin and Lewis paid the price when Bernie's wrath was incurred and he lowered his crooked old man stick and cursed them out of pole.

I dont think it matters if Vettel wins or becomes WDC, it's been a battle for second for a long time now.

A resurgent Lotus and Raikkonen to close the gap on Alonso who is still admirably dragging that Ferrari around.

And when the championship is won, Webber to miraculously drive a reliable car and get some well-earned podium time.

To be honest I dont think even the fight for 2nd will be that thrilling unless Alonso fails to finish. Merc and Lotus are too inconsistent for Lewis/Kimi to take 30 points out of Alonso in 4 races in normal circumstances. If Alonso just does what Alonso usually does the bridesmaid's role is his again.

I think, should Alonso finish P2 in the WDC again (would be the 4th time), he must have the record for most WDC 2nd place finishes!

They're fighting for first of the non-cheaters. We should make a trophy - a single pointy finger, broken by a pair of pliers.

I don't think KR will catch Alonso but we have to create some kind of drama, and bar the Saturday afternoon fun of watching di Resta trying to get out of Q1, that was the best i could come up with.

thats a filthy shameful mention of hate

please stop deceiving us poor members with your interpretations

everyone loves Seb and RBR, there is no evidence of hate anywhere in the world, Murray said Seb is a lovely man therefore the facts are that Seb is loved by all :hehe:

Indian Grand Prix: Court hears bid to cancel Sunday's race

India's Supreme Court will hear a petition on Friday which is seeking the cancellation of this weekend's Indian Grand Prix.

The petition was filed on the grounds that the organisers have allegedly not paid taxes for a previous event.

"We will hear the petition tomorrow," said Chief Justice P. Sathasivam.

A spokesman for the circuit's owner, Jaypee Sports International Limited, said: "Whatever the court says, we are ready to follow."
Winners of Indian Grands Prix

Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel, who leads rival Fernando Alonso of Ferrari by 90 points with 100 still available, could clinch his fourth title in India this Sunday.

The German, who has led every racing lap at the Indian Grand Prix since its debut in 2011, will triumph if he finishes fifth or higher, regardless of where Alonso finishes.

The Supreme Court in India has executive powers and ordered circuit bosses two years ago to freeze 25% of ticket revenues until they had settled an outstanding tax dispute.

That ruling followed Public Interest Litigation filed by campaigner Amit Kumar, the same man who is behind Thursday's petition.

The long-term future of the Indian Grand Prix is already uncertain after F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone removed the race from the 2014 calendar.

Organisers are trying to find a new date for its return in 2015, with Ecclestone keen for the race to take place in the early part of the season, rather than its current October date.

Despite the championships (WDC and WCC) being pretty much a lock, there is still much to like about the last races of the season. Each race has given us some good racing, not for the lead perhaps but interesting none the less. There should be some good racing this weekend among Alonso, Kimi, and Hammy, and others may be on form to force the issue. Of more interest to me is the continuing development of young drivers, Grosjean and Hulkenberg in particular. Both have shown promise in the past and appear ready to take things up another notch. Lastly there is Vettel and the Red Bull team. It is hard to determine how good Seb is, when the car is that much superior, but you can't help but appreciate the skill with which he drives it. I'm looking forward to next year, but still enjoying aspects of this one.
