More sad news for the racing community. Sean was26 and leading the Porsche Supercup. He was a passenger in a Porsche at a private test in Australia when the car crashed and he was killed. His farther was an F1 driver and he was one of the ones who pulled Lauda from the burning car. Sean played his father in the recent film Rush.

Thoughts to his family and friends.

Very sad, RIP Sean and condolences to his family.

I believe he played the role of his father in the movie Rush. His dad was one of the drivers who assisted Niki Lauda after his accident in Germany in 76.

Actually Sean was a passenger. He was giving advanced driving lessons to a 20 year old.

I had been following his career for quite some time since 2011, I had watched his videos on youtube, he was a great driver

R.I.P

Why are more drivers passing away this decade, we've lost Dan Wheldon, Marco, now Sean, very very sad :(

We need to do more about safety, we're just slowing down in terms of safety aspects now, that incident could have been avoided if the track has better barriers, and didn't have concrete just behind it, tecpro barriers could help, and the concrete can be removed but that is very hard. The sam thing happened with Allan Simonsen thanks to the barriers which were built against a tree, which he unfortunately hit, we need to continue making safety number 1 priority because we just lost another talented driver.

If you know the track layout it's a bit of an odd place to end in the wall.
I dunno these joyride days for people with 0 experience are a bit dodgy if you ask me. sure you have an experienced driver coaching you but if you lose control there's not much he can do.
