Makes sense that Honda dont want Button, otherwise he would have been snapped up on a 5 year deal by now to prevent RBR, Ferrari, Lotus, Merc, Marussia etc poaching him

The only ace available is Alonso and the junior drivers like Mag will have pitched properly for the number 2 seat on tests, as well as not expecting the third highest wage on the grid.

With regard to Button, it appears winning a WDC in 2009 with Honda and having very strong links to Japan through his girlfriend, Jessica Michibata, are not enough for the manufacturer to desire his services.
