I was watching FP2 this morning, and Suzie Wolff was guest presenting when they broke the news. She was clearly shaken, and was wiping tears away. They broke to some VT and when they came back Suzie was gone.

It's terrible that this has happened, but especially so, after the recovery she has gone through in the last year or so.

I don't know if this is accurate news or not but this is being reported.

The autopsy reveals that former Formula 1 driver has died of natural causes after suffering a "cardiac arrest". All indications are that it could have been a landslide of brain tissue as a result of the car accident she had in 2012.

Rest In Peace, very sad news.

I was about to tweet about my Internet connection being down from my phone a 2am this morning when I saw several tweets about her untimely death, which made my connectivity problems seem insignificant!

RIP María de Villota

It has got to be very difficult to accept that after more than a year, she succumbed to her injuries!!

Even though I realize that not enough is known about brain injuries, it must be so very hard to accept
that she battled back and was then taken so long afterwards!!

May their God bless them and remind them of all the good times they had together!!

I've never been so sad about the death of somebody I didn't know personally. This one is quite dramatic for me for unknown reasons.:(

Perhaps because she's been so brave and overcome so much, only to be cheated. Very, very sad.

Personally, I believe we're born with a "date of death"!
Last year, it wasn't her "time"... she hadn't finished was
she was "supposed" to do... now she has...

Doesn't make it any easier to accept, eh??

To an extent... we all have to die, we can't avoid that!
But, what's important is how we live, that we have "control" over!
