Might as well, we had one the last time two WDCs drove for the same team.

Neither brill at qualifying, both good at racing. A prima Donna and guy who doesn't give a s***. I can't wait!

Since we're being subjective:

Amazingly well-rounded driver in Alonso who also knows how to play the political games (read :bs: ) that is such a big part of being in the public eye!

And, another amazingly great driver in Kimi who tells it as it is without really caring if any political knickers are sent into knots!!

Amazing pairing that will strike fear in the most stoic of hearts, if Ferrari comes through and gives them a competitive car!

Oh, and if Pirelli doesn't fiddling around with tire compounds, Kevlar linings and secret tests!!

Personality wise, you couldn't get two more different drivers, but on a pure talent level, it's hard to choose between the two of them, although that said, I'd give Alonso the edge because he is the current Ferrari man and speaks the lingo, I don't believe Raikkonen speaks Italian does he? One thing is for sure, I'll be loving seeing the two go wheel to wheel next season, it's been some time since Ferrari had two #1 drivers, driver #1a and #1b doesn't count as equal.

I don't think that speaking Italian is that important, most of the key personnel aren't Italian.
I hope Kimi comes out ontop but I think Fernando will. Either way I'm looking forward to this match up!

I feel it won't be half as long as the Hamilton v Button thread. That's a good thing.

 When did Alonzo quit Ferrari and Vettel sign to take his place? Didn't know Ferrari signed two new drivers for 2014, when was the last time that happened?

No, they just signed the one.

I expect Alonso to come out on top. This will most likely be where Raikkonen sees out the remainder of his career. His relationship with Alonso will determine how many years it will last.

I would not be too sure on that. If Alonso feels threatened by Kimi, Alonso might demanding things that Ferrari are not willing to give. So the Alonso/Ferrari relationship might be the issue

I think Alonso drank the cool aid, he knows the way to get things from Ferrari is to be their number 1 driver.

With all the Kimi fanfare, people forget that he won his championship just about the same way Massa lost his. I'm looking forward to the results of where Ferrari and both drivers are by the time they get back to Europe, and Ferrari's backing would have been earned by then by whomever it is.

I can read all the jealousy with Ferrari having the most potent 1-2 punch in 2014 and maybe ever in the history of F1. It's all about the Manufactures Championship and all the Ferrari haters are trying to stir up the driver controversy.

I am happy that Luca's love affair with :banghead: Massa has ended and he had the hangers to bring Kimi back  ....one more piece of the puzzle is to dump Stephano. That will happen at the end of the season you heard it here first. Stephano will be cleaning out his desk and will be looking for employment as Massa is.

Maybe his best bud Horner will find him a position at Dead Bull as supervisor of their wind tunnel. Stephano knows how to run a great wind tunnel program and keep it running in tip top shape.:rofl::rofl:

First worry about the potent car, then Ferrari can focus on the potent 1-2 punch. The Kimi Ferrari let go in 2009 was a bit lack luster. Hopefully he's ready to try on the red overalls again.
