Weeeellll... Kimi won fairly and I don't think anybody complained about that. But Ferrari's got their constructor's title served by FIA, and I don't think that was fair, after all the controversy we had from Max during that judging. From my point of view, team was supposed to be fined financially for having Ferrari's info, but as it was not proved that any of that was used in McLaren's car, I still think they should of keep their points. Anyway...

Weeeeellll, I guess it shows then Ferrari can do what they like then and when they do, things happen. :D. That is if you believe that McLaren never cheated I guess. Proves my point as well that F1 is all about Ferrari and everything revolves around Ferrari. Think of it like this. Ferrari is like the Sun in the Solar System and all the other teams are like the planets the revolve around the Sun. In the case of F1, everything revolves around Ferrari. Very simple example isn't?

Oh grow up, little lady

What you just said is very much like "Iraq was all about Saddam Hussein and everything revolved around Saddam Hussein. Saddam was like the Sun in the Solar system and all the other Iraqis were like a planets revolving around the Saddam". Now swap Iraq with F1 and Saddam with Ferrari and we're back at your post. See? Of course it has much darker meaning then what you were aiming for (at least I hope so). We can't argue that Ferrari is the most influential team in F1, but that does not mean it is any good for F1 - on the contrary, it makes Ferrari - with the little help of MM and other moppets - the tyrant of the F1. Was that what you were trying to say?

id say ferrari is more like a black hole that bends an corrupts all that surrounds it!

Yeah, it might seem that way from a deer in the headlights point of view

As stupid and arrogant my original Solar System/Ferrari statement was, your Iraq/Saddam one actually made me laugh. Obviuosly my statement wasn't serious just as much as yours wasn't, but I guess a bit of humour here and then can brighten someones day and put a smile on their face. You certainly made me do that Nikon. :)

They hate him because of the fact that he managed what he did in his first season. The way that he was built up by the media, you know?

Me? I hate the way people rave on about him. I will not deny that he has immense talent, but it's not like he's the first to have that and he certainly won't be the last. And all the greats are thrown out for this apparent worship of him. I like the guy, think he does deserve a title, but I do not like the people who follow him blindly.

Denthul you summed it up perfectly. I'm guessing most of the MClaren fans on this forum are only recently converted due to Lewis otherwise they would be off supporting Ferrari.

Just to be straight, I've had an attraction to McLaren ever since I saw their F1 car on a stand at the 1994 Birmingham Motor Show, and I really took to them after reading a book about the team called "Teamwork" in about 1998.

I had to laugh last Saturday when the ITV news covered the McLaren grid penalty by posing the question "has the boy wonder lost his winning ways?" I mean really . Most of the people posting on this website could do a more accurate race write-up that most of the tabloid journos.

I think there's alot of new fans who have started to watch F1 in recent years who largely divide into either Spanish Alonso fans, British and other Hamilton fans and worldwide Ferrari fans who simply haven't yet seen enough racing to make a balanced judgement on what a particular scenario means. It's probably just a matter of time for them and if F1's popular I can't really complain.

Yes, I forgot to include about how they rave about him, and he is a tad bit overrated but at least he's not an asshole, which was my point. But I totally aree with you.

The same can be said for SOME Ferrari fans as well, cough*AKR*cough. I dont have anything against Ferrari, they are a wonderful team, but some fans are sooo arrogant it is just annoying. And if you're reading this AKR I have nothing against your opinion and Ferrari, its just that if you presesnted your opinion in a A LOT less arrogant manner and with equal footing I will find your comments easier, understandable, and A LOT less aggrivating to read.
