Oh come on Lewis!!! Stuff it to him!!

Kinda hoping it rains a LITTLE BIT (always wary of these safety-car inducing Asian "rain showers")

See? That's the only thing that will add a little spice to the ""predetermined"" results!!
So, I'll be doing a little rain dance: Image

Make that a SLOOOOOOW dance so the saefty car doen't come out. Anything more than a drizzle then Horner will be bitching up a storm to bring out the safety car. I nice drizzle so they are on the Inters versus full rains is  with me

Actually, Alonso is often the one screaming for a halt in precedings when it rains. He did it at Silverstone 2012 and saved himself, otherwise he'd have been out of Q3.

That was tactical rather than Alonso moaning about the conditions - although on that occasion, Alonso was one of numerous cars to have aquaplaned on the hangar straight, which was part of the reason it was stopped.

I really like the last part of sector 3 in this circuit, it has a really nice flow getting back on the main straight. It's got such a visual flow on the cameras and there's very little lifting.

Watching qualifying today though was embarrassing seeing the grandstands less than 25% full.

If Mercedes is going to overtake Ferrari in the WDC it will be tomorrow. Their battle and perhaps the battle for number two in the driver's race is keeping things interesting. Who'd have thunk it that Mercedes would have been here at this point in the season.

Not guaranteed though - Mercedes are 2nd and 4th, while Ferrari are 5th and 6th. Given Mercedes usually fall back in the race while Ferrari move forward it could be interesting.

Interesting battles tomorrow will be Merc vs Ferrari with possibly Grosjean in the mix, and also how Webber does from P13!

Catching this in theatres this Sunday after the Korean GP, even if it's just me! Just realized it's out. :cloud9:

Its wicked, go see it :)

Cant see Lewis making Sebs life too difficult tomorrow when, as MB said "he just cant get the power down where Vettel can" Will be interesting to see how long it takes for Webber to come through and repeat the '11 battle with Lewis maybe, can see there being many similarities to that race with Lewis pushing Vettel hard for a bit but then having to defend from behind later on.

Hopefully a good race anyway wont be getting up stupid oclock tomorrow now the championship is over, il take the 11:30 repeat on this one :hehe::drink:

I actually enjoyed the race today. You have to tip your hat to Red Bull for making yet another awesome car. Newey and the rest of the team there get even higher in my estimation.

Seb again did everything he had to do, and there was nothing more he could have done really.

The exciting part of the race was the scraps with the Hulk leading. He was under pressure from Nando early on, and then, late in the race from Lewis and Nando. He did a great job holding them off. But, I'll add that both Nando and Lewis also showed great skill. Nando in his efforts to get past Lewis, and Lewis in being able to defend those and still try and attack the Hulk. It was awesome racing.

I might add, that last stint after the SC for me proves how overtaking is not needed for exciting racing, in fact, the scrap is what is exciting. I was glad the DRS proved ineffectual and for me it proves DRS simply isn't needed for exciting racing.

Loved the SUV SC :)
