I remember my friend told me that one person at school was playing around with a big spring, it caught his scrotum through his shorts, it cut it in half, they found out when a red puddle appeared on his shorts,

My mate did similar jumping a barb wire fence.

My brother in law is a tree surgeon he has some good injury stories.

I know about 2 years ago a chainsaw kicked back and removed his toe.

Had countless falls during my childhood from my bicycles, a bunch of us used to do everything which involved bicycles, racing, police n thief, walking our dogs, gang fights, etcetc. Scrapes on all our knees and elbows were too common.

My biggest injury was a torn tendon. Thanks to 1 day during high school I was feeling extra 'macho' and did like 3 hours of swimming (during PE in school), came back and went to the gym for 2 hours with loose weights, then squash at night. I woke up at 2am with my entire arm on fire. :hehe:

Touch wood, no broken bones or twists despite all the idiotic risks I've taken....I'm convinced I have a guardian angel somewhere.

Pretty much the same as you Hammer... plenty of falls from bikes, etc (although NO fights for me  ) and as of yet, no broken bones... Oh, and also, I didn't have any "extra-macho" moments like yourself :wink::wink:

I didn't feel too 'macho' wearing that cloth-sling thing on my arm for 5 weeks.
