Staying at Ferrari is really the only option to continue in F1. Going to McLaren does not only make Alonso an idiot after the events of 2007, but makes him go backwards. Unless the regulations hurt Ferrari next year, he should stay at Ferrari.

Obviously, his acknowledgement of the fact that yet another season is passing without title honours will be growing even more urgent.

McLaren never had problems with Alonso, Alonso had problems with McLaren for not treating him like a deity which he thinks he is. As far as McLaren are concerned, they lost a very strong Dramaqueen driver who might have since, matured a bit and prepared to fight with his teammate. Since right now he's got no choice but to pull his socks up again and share an F1 team with another strong driver.

I'm in the minority it would seem thinking the Kimi Alonso pairing will go the way our last WDC pairing in Alonso's favor?
