Didn't a certain F1 driver say he was going to win every race left in this year? How is that going for him since he said it?

Can't be Vettel. He never claims he is going to win any race in advance.

Lewis Hamilton says the Mercedes at his disposal is capable of winning every race for the remainder of the championship.
Hamilton also said that he expects to be strong at the upcoming races in Belgium and Italy, increasing his belief that he can challenge for the championship.
"The tracks coming up should suit me. I am really looking forward to the second half of the season; it's normally my favourite part.

This is what Hamilton actually says:

"Last year I didn't feel like I had the car to win 10 races. But this year I feel I have a car that can win 10 races. The tyres are going to play a massive part of that, but I truly believe in this car. It feels awesome. It feels like it's there with the Red Bulls and the Lotuses. [In Hungary] I think our pace was very similar.

"If we can continue with that qualifying pace, get ourselves up front and have the tyres working as they did, we can fight with them. The Mercedes is different to other cars I've driven. It's one of the best. The 2008 McLaren was pretty good. I want to say the Mercedes is even better than that."

"The tracks coming up should suit me. I am really looking forward to the second half of the season; it's normally my favourite part. We have still got improvements to make but this is a good step in Hungary."

And this is what you said:

Welllllllllllll... in his defence, he didn't actually lie... nor was he telling untruths...
seems more like what the media does by pulling out salient information... :wavey:

Then why say something which is untrue? IMO if you're not sure of what you're saying its better to not say it, or you expect people to call you out on it.

Andrew hasn't posted in a while, maybe you've taken on some of his characteristics the way Walter White takes on some of the characteristics of his victims.

Whatever Hamilton said or did not say, he has a tendency to shoot his mouth off at times and be embarrassed afterwards. Following qualifying in P3 behind the Red Bulls in one of the 2011 Grand Prix (I don't recall which) he commented loftily in the press interview that he was going to be in P1 by the first corner. As it was, he made a poor start and slipped to 4th.

So you go back two years, to a race you can't remember to try to prove Hamilton "shoots his mouth off". let me guess, if he says nothing and looks down cast because he's Upset with his performance, you'll be one of the ones calling him sulky!
