On the subject of pants...can I ask you guys , if you were going on holiday for 14 days, how many pairs of pants would you take?

RC... how about if in your case, we assume you're *always* on "holiday" and you just let us know when you actually go to work.

I'm sorry.....is that still a holiday? Or temporary retirement?

My longest 'holiday' like a beach side or a highland was a week tops. And 3-4 pairs of pants would do.

A 2 week holiday almost becomes a 'lifestyle'.

I would take 7,depends if I'm wearing them for 2 days not just 1,or if I bother washing them and wearing them a second time.

The nice thing about two weeks on holiday is that by the middle of the second weeks you begin to forget you have a life somewhere else!

I was referring to pants, as in outwear and NOT the "underwear" type!!

Actually my logic is always to travel as light as possible and make use of the laundry facilities where I'd be staying. So 1 cycle would do nicely for a week long holiday!

On another topic, I find this island I am on boasts two of Spain's current very successful sporting stars . nadal ( tennis) and Lorenzo ( moto GP)

I went in some amazing caves today.

FFS. You are on holiday. Get off this Forum and enjoy the real world. If i just spent a week in rainy mid Wales and managed to keep away, I'm sure you can manage it in lovely sunny Spain.
