Agree totally. It's a farce that it's not on the calendar. That we'll see it every other year soon is something, but it should be the home of the Japanese Grand Prix full stop.

They're too simple and too similar. Why can't we have more circuits like the classics? Silverstone, Imola, Spa, these are real circuits.

I don't like the Bahrain circuit much either... nor Fuji for that matter.
Faves are Spa (by far) and Suzuka; and from what i can tell so far, the new Valencia.

Here's some videos (i found) about the new valencia circuit. Not the biggest fan of street circuits, but this one appears fantastic (+ great scenery!) with really nice curves that don't seem "thrown in there from a check list or a cut+paste" like typical Tilke's. Kind of a mix between Monaco, Montreal and Melbourne...
