I would be very interested in looking forward to the No.6 car beating the No.5, that's for sure.

I wouldn't be counting said eggs just yet. The way Perez was to beat his team mate, you've got a poor track record. I think Kimi's talents will show at Ferrari, but I also think his weaknesses will also be underscored. Alonso in my opinion is a far better driver.

I said I'm looking forward to it happening, doesn't mean I predict that it will happen. But it's a far far better chance than putting hopes on Massa. And even Massa has troubled Alonso from time to time, but needless to say Kimi has some serious consistency to boot.

 I never thought I'd see the day when Hammer wants to see a team-mate beat Lewis Hamilton.....

Kimi is going to get a rough ride from the devout Massa fans, until he starts "proving" he's a better choice at Ferrari.
Even then, many of them will be looking for things to criticize, probably starting with the fact he's not as politically correct or diplomatic as some!!

I don't think there's enough devout Massa fans for this to matter.

Super-stoked about this news. I think I will be one third a Ferrari fan next year after STR and RBR!

Actually I'm really excited about the potential for all the teams except McLaren.

I think Raikkonen's character suits Ferrari quite well. All drivers of the scarlet car don't have to be similar - in fact Raikkonen and Alonso will be perfect foils for each other. Kimi's presence will add spice to the proceedings and I am sure that they'll enjoy that in the paddock.

I am certainly looking forward to this. I strongly feel that Ferrari are now thinking of the WCC next year in opting for Kimi. They will be given equal status and rather than feel apprehensive about it, Alonso should join in.
