So if he didn't know, he's not that bright a guy... chances as the entire team was patting Nelson Piquet on the back for a job well done, and Flavio called in a few honeys for him as a thank you.

Nah. I think Alonso did not know about it before hand. But a bit in his contract said he had to win a race that year or he was a free agent.

I think he knew. If he didn't know before he damn sure must have done when that car hit the wall, cos he's not stupid and everyone else knew.

I take one exception... comparing Hamilton's lying to the stewards, (being told by his team to do it no less) and the "crashgate" incident is like comparing a grape to a beach ball.

Mmm....on that scale, I wonder how you rate Vettel's ignoring RBR's 'Multi 21' team order? Let me guess......Jupiter?!?

It's legal, and I didn't care one way or another. Red Bull couldn't control their driver, so egg on their face, but who cares, Vettel was happy and they got a 1-2 result.

I don't hate Seb! (And my support lies largely with McLaren). I just think he's adorable. I hope to marry him in the next few years.

I'm a team player at heart and F1 is a team sport, so Seb's behaviour at Malaysia really bothered me. Did he really think it was okay to ignore a directive, from the team that made him one of the premier players in his chosen sport? You can argue against Red Bull telling him to hold position , but in my opinion ignoring a team order is unacceptable under any circumstances.
