Shame. I'd have like to see Raikkonen and Massa as team mates again but at least he's out of Ferrari and can try and find a seat with a team that doesn't treat him like crap and actually supports him.

Again? Seriously? How much more support could Ferrari have offered him than contract extensions?
If that's being treated like crap, I'm sure there are all sorts of drivers willing to sign on the dotted line!!

They pretty much lost him his championship by neglecting to disconnect the fuel hose and then constantly being told to pull over for Alonso rather than letting the 2 race or at least give Massa a few wins or podiums, breaking a seal on his gearbox for no real reason otehr than to stop Alonso from spitting out his dummy etc etc.

Do people think he is getting dangerously close to being a Barrichello, at the end of his career, and taking up a valuable F1 seat, or do people think he still has more to give a team...?

I don't think so because Massa is generally a better driver and would therefore be more valuable to a team. Barrichello has spent the last few years on becoming a bitter old has-been due to his lack of reading skills when it came to his Ferrari contract. A word of complaint re. Ferrari has never been uttered (to the press at least) by Massa. Unlike Barrichello he is a huge team player.

NO championship is won in ONE race, it takes an ENTIRE season to do that!
Sure, in retrospect, you can say we coulda, shoulda, woulda; but, what's the use?

Again, why split the points when it's obvious that Alonso was the one mathematically
in for the WDC? Especially considering the last 5 WDCs have been too close to call?

AND, putting Alonso (and Massa) on the clean side of the grid was a stroke of genius
that no one else had thought of, yet it worked.

I think Kimi has lost the 'iceman' persona...it's what he had at McLaren when he barely spoke and just drove deadly quick, thanks to a combination of his own talents and car which suited him to a T.

Nowadays he's the comeback Kimi who speaks a lot more, ruder and more arrogant (and still passes of as a hilarious and witty character) and will be a perfect fit at Ferrari. The biggest loser in all this is Alonso who has gained nothing but a serious threat to deal with since 2007, which is what makes this move all the more sweeter. Personally.
