keep the bickering and insults to Pm. No one else wants to hear.

How do you think Lewis will go at Monza? Make or break I reckon regarding the champioship. he's already well on the back foot.I think the Mercs will be there about, but not sure they'll be ahead, as they need to be, not at this track. But one can always hope. :D

And that's it!!! That's the sum total of Lewis Hamilton not being a team player??:rofl:

No, that was not it! There were numerous times when I heard much the same thing; but, I am not prepared to waste time looking for enough "evidence" that would stand up in a court of law. I was asked for an example and that's what I tried to provide..

But the first example you provided proved my point not yours. In the clip, Whilst being delighted at his performance, he thanked the team, said he couldn't have done it without them and referred to the outfit as 'we'. If there were numerous examples, I'm surprised you chose one that proved my point and not yours.

Ali G is a completely different point and does not prove that Lewis is not a team player. I can only assume you brought it up to try to discredit him in another way.
Yes Baron Cohen is British albeit with Jewish heritage but he's widely appreciated by the black cmommunity, there's more going on in his comedy than is immediately obvious , he's an accepted, award winning comedian. Why shouldn't Lewis make a joke in that vein? He was unfairly punished on more than one occasion and had rightly had enough. NOT JUST EXCUSES!!
Yes he was bullied at school, could just as easily have been because of his height than his colour, not an issue for him, he dealt with it.
And on getting his break into F1, you are right it was his outstanding talent and his fathers support.

 Again, I didn't spend hours and hours looking for "evidence", as I've had a lot to deal with (personally); however, even in that clip, where he finally remembered his team, he spent pretty well 90% of the time referring to "me and I"!
 Again, I posted my opinion about the Ali G "affair" AFTER reading your own reference to him, the other day and I did so SEPARATELY so as to NOT confuse the two issues.
 NOT everyone in the Black Community on this side of the pond, appreciates Ali G; in fact, I have a couple of good friends who don't appreciate him at all!
 Just as it may appear that Hamilton was "unfairly" penalized, there were a number of occasions when Hamilton was NOT punished at all, just ask Massa!
 One last word on Ali G, if I may. I would suggest his success is based on the "shock value" of being someone white who parodies someone white who parodies someone Black. Just as Joe Avati was successful for his parodies on some aspects of Italian family life and just as Eddie Murphy was successful for his parodies on some aspects of African American life. The difference between these three is that personally, I would pay to see both Avati and Murphy!

So Lewis should not have made the Ali G joke because there was no chance at all that the stewards could have been prejudiced because he was not always harshly penalised, just a lot more than anyone else. And those who didnt appreciate it were outraged that there was a hint that prejudice exists?

Ok makes sense

Ali G is a character played by a Jew. That character is a caricature of British Indian/Pakistani kids who pretend to be black. So its not about 'a black in funny situations' its about a certain culture (which actually includes Jew, white and other non blacks) that mimic black uneducated street culture in a bid to seem cool. Maybe he got the idea from the beastie boys who knows

Yes the character ends up exploiting black culture because the irony goes above the heads of many, especially years later.

So Lewis quoting Ali G, was about Lewis saying 'if I was not black, I would say something like is it because Im black' because that was the whole Ali g joke. Non blacks saying 'is it because Im black' when confronted with some kind of unfairness

Anyway I still dont get why you didnt appreciate this comment. Are you saying there was no chance at all that Lewis was excessively penalised because of his colour? That there is no way prejudice existed in those stewards? And that it was an excuse from Lewis

Do you think Lewis ever experienced racism in his whole driving career before that? If so, do you think it was never, seldom or often?

 I know who Ali G is and I still do NOT appreciate that brand of humour. It's a personal thing and not because it goes over my head! Appropriating/adopting that phrase makes light of the real bias/prejudice some people live.
 As for what Hamilton's (personal/professional) life may have been like, I wouldn't pretend to know, so I won't comment. But, please, don't try to convince me that it's all been bad! He's had a lot of doors opened to him, thanks to McLaren/Ron Dennis.
 Isn't it ironic that Hamilton, who because of his success, has polarized many F1 fans, just as Schumi did?

From now, when someone protests about something, say Greenpeace and Artic exploration, I am going to get outraged and not appreciate it?
Why? because the protesters have had a good life and good education, and are making a mockery of all that and makes light of the real suffering done by the wildlife in the arctic

The Merc's certainly will be frontrunners during practice and qualifying at Monza and their tyre performance during the race has dramatically improved since that 'Tyregate' test. It is more difficult to predict their performance on this particular race day because it seems like they have to get the race set-up exactly right within a very narrow window. Hamilton commented that being a low down force track Monza might not suit the Mercs, which I find surprising. I was under the impression that Hamilton himself preferred a low downforce setting to his cars. I can only assume that he felt that lack of grip can be a factor in Monza with low DF settings.

I don't think they'd struggle as bad as in Monza since they clearly set their cars up for heavy showers.

Though I think they might struggle in Sector 2 of Monza compared to the Ferrari and Redbull while keeping tabs with them on the straights. Especially on race day.

Hamilton himself has said he prefers a neutral car. It's just he generally deals well with oversteer because of his quick reactions and so now has a reputation for preferring that.

Merc are only just getting to grips with these tyres and I think the issue is , as you say, getting the balance right with the front and the rear tyres. Lewis is hoping to go well at Monza but it isn't ideal for the Merc. He is far more optimistic about Singapore.

Yesterdays newspaper had an article saying that Nicole Shirtlifter wants nothing more to do with Lewis, but Lewis is not letting sleeping Roscoe's lie.
