Out of interest, what are people's opinions of the circuit? Most seem to be critical of Tilke latest shenanigans and I have to agree, the circuit to me seems utterly lifeless.

I realise this has probably been done to death but I'm pretty new here and find this particular debate an interesting one. The new circuits to me, aside from half of Turkey seem very stop start and in some cases might as well be the same sections pasted around circuits. The tight twisty opening section, run down to hairpin, long right lefts etc etc.

Fortunately this one's more straights and overtaking is pretty common even if you go off (Nico passed Kubica off track last year). Also they're using the soft and medium compounds so that will suit the Williams better hopefully and they'll get ahead of the BMW's like they wanted to, I think there's still a lot more than what we saw from Melbourne to come out of the car.

Still not a fan of Tilke though.

Just had a look at an onboard lap of Bahrain and it could have been any of the new circuits anywhere in the world... All of Tilke's circuits might be nice and shiny with excellent pit facilities but all have another common hallmark - absolutely no soul whatsoever. I just hope the two new street circuits are not the same.

They're too simple and too similar. Why can't we have more circuits like the classics? Silverstone, Imola, Spa, these are real circuits.

And Monaco... Now hopefully Valencia and Singapore are gd races and foster overtaking, but something makes me think it may not happen. Personally I don't like Tilke circuits either, we didnt get to see how Fuji was in the dry (seeing Tikle tinkered with the infield).

Monaco with no TC etc, will be fantastic tho this year...or at least I hope.

What are the odds on Massa crashing?

Worse than the odds on Massa shrinking even more and disappearing completely... man... he's a midget... makes Kubica look like a giant (with a masseeeve heeed)

Naaa... that was wee Bernie Ecclestone sitting on Robert's shoulder

Bernie would probs do a better job in that Ferrari than Massa.
