So the last European race of the season already and we're in Ferrari territory. What will happen in this one? Will Vettel yet again be stroking his car? Will Ferrari paint the town red? I have no idea what will happen but we'll have to find out. Let the discussions COMMENCE

I think this will be Alonso's best chance to get another victory. With that Ferrari engine being immense, and the track being Redbull's achilles heel.

How about a Forza Ferrari for a home town 1-2 win at Monza...

If he's putting in a Ferrari 1-2 at every race he will lose. A lot

Probably, but if it rains it can even out the playing field a bit. Vettel has won here twice, the first time in the rain in a Toro Rosso.

Fast, low downforce tracks have been Red Bull's weaknesses but they set it right at Spa with that lower downforce setting that blew everyone, Alonso included, off the track. Also, vettel was the fastest over the speed traps, something new for him and Red Bull. If they get the set-up right for Monza, Vettel has a good chance of beating Alonso.

I don't think anyone will catch Vettel to the WDC but I have a feeling that Hamilton and maybe Raikkonen will catch and pass Alonso. With the exception of Suzuka, Ferrari might struggle on the other 'Eastern' tracks like Singapore, Korea, India and Abu Dhabi.

Merc set the car up for too much understeer at Spa,the front tyres were scrubbing at Eau Rouge costing them speed in S1,I think they will be competitive here.

Red Bull were not fastest in top speed, the speed trap is at the top of Eau Rouge,RBR were topping out at 314kmh,Ferrari 321kmh,Merc 318kmh,Lotus 315kmh

They had low downforce and short gears to max acceleration.

Had it rained it would have been a completely different story.

The thing with the Reb Bull chassis is that they're clearly making more downforce from the body of the car than anyone else, consequently they're able to play more with the wings to set up the car to suit a specific circuit which is why over the last few years they've enjoyed the success.
